After reading the above, I do feel a little less upset with Raavi. I think more than her the inconsistent writing is what bothers me. I honestly wish the scene had her coming in handing the ointment to Gaumbi and leaving. A part of me felt like she came in to make that single comment (almost like a child coming to a teacher after a class brawl to give her two cents) but then the part that really feels for Raavi agrees with you. She is very kind and probably just wanted to reach out to Dhara. But I completely agree that Dhara’s behavior has no excuse and is just plain disgusting. The way she forces Raavi makes me so so uncomfortable. It’s been only 5 days like you said! I don’t want Raavi anywhere near her cuz she does not deserve to be at the receiving end while Rishu baby is given khada to scream Mera Dev all day!

It is also coming to the point of Raavi suddenly starting to respect Shiva. Trust me that cannot happen. It's a sore point amongst couples who have a childhood camaraderie. Raavi and Shiva have grown up a certain way. It cannot change just because they are married, no matter how much people want them to. She cannot change and shouldn't change too. Does she care for Shiva, of course? Yes! Barring that tea episode, she has fed him food directly or indirectly. She is hurt when he gets beaten. Yes, she didn't jump in to save him. Correct, but she has seen them being beaten up from childhood. A sindoor and a ritual won't change the way they behave. Typical respect for her husband will never be there. She cannot put him on a pedestal like he can’t stop calling her a lizard. These two people and the entire family has grown up together. The entire insecurity of Shiva, even when she laughs harmlessly, will vanish in thin air once they LOVE each other. That's important. Respect automatically comes when you are in love. Once, Raavi gets that and gives love, respect shall automatically follow.
As for Raavi respecting Shiva, I do agree. It can’t happen so quickly. I just hope the writing is consistent and build towards a day where she truly respects him. In the end, without respect a relationship cannot thrive nor be meaningful.
Me too! The only thing I want is the nok jhok to be either toned down or balance with scenes of physical attraction and scenes that take the story forward. Truly it’ll be an exciting dynamic for an ITV couple. Years ago, I read a novel where the female protagonist was emotionally distant. During an intimate moment, she closes her eyes and tell him to get it over already. He backs off because he’s in love and cannot be in it for just physical reasons. Some emotional moments follow. It’s ITV but I would love to see something along those lines where Raavi is emotionally distant and Shiva is affected by it 
Sigh! This is ITV . 😆Can it expect anything more from it? I wish they have the guts to explore this route. This would be such an angsty track to follow. Honestly, I love the nok-jhonkz, but I think sometimes it gets overboard.
Bang on! I noticed the same! That scene was so heartbreaking because you literally feel his loneliness and despite hugging his brothers, he doesn’t let it all out! Kanwar was really good in that scene Even before the leap, Shiva was vocal only while showing anger or love for his family. When it comes to grief and certain other emotions, he tends to keep those to himself. They can give us so many beautiful moments! I really hope the writers touch on this aspect and understand Shiva the way we do! Sometimes I feel like ITV writers don’t realize what they have created 
Many people internalise grief, and that inability to express it freely leads them to create a non-pervasive shell around themselves. Penetrating that shell is a huge challenge, and I certainly believe this could be a fantastic track for both Raavi and Shiva.
My biggest concern from day one was and still is that they will show Shiva falling for Raavi because she loves his family. Like you said, it’s such a bizarre reason! It’s a plus but should never be the main reason. Personally, if that ends up being the reason, I’ll probably check out and be done. I really don’t want them to show that. It’ll ruin all the emotions and complexity in their relationship
. I hate when falling in love will be based on familial ties. I wouldn't say I like ITV’s obsession with this. Women are more than their relationship with families. It's archetype is very patriarchial. Also, Dhara is a specimen of internalised patriarchy. She has lived a certain way, and she thinks it's the only way. These shows set unrealistic standards for women and treat them mainly as individuals who have no priority except family. It's deeply problematic!
