I feel like ShiVi’s relationship is slowly becoming shallow & it’s because of the writing... the acting is not the issue.

And its true especially from Raavi’s side. It’s more about nok jhoks and cutesy moments (which are fine in moderation) but they are missing the deep connection that was shown in the past. I’m not saying she has to love him or care for him. But whatever the case is, keep her consistent. Don’t throw these lollipops at the fans to keep them happy. It’s almost as if she doesn’t respect him but expects something from him.

She doesn’t respect him. Fine. Then start from there and slowly build up to a point where she does. Like I mentioned the other day, the tension between the two & Shiva’s hidden emotions drew me to ShiVi, along with the complexity in their relationship. Hope the writers realize that and build on it. I rather get meaningful scenes of other characters rather than scenes of ShiVi that serve no purpose. And if they can’t fix it, don’t mess up what’s already there (case in point Raavi’s dialogue today).

If she doesnt have basic humanity in her, all future scenes of shivi will not at all be enjoyable...

Agreed! Raavi was shown as inhuman and a hypocrite today with no respect for Shiva

We can't enjoy their nok jhoks if she is hot and cold.

I wish the makers stop ruining the characters! They have ruined everyone except Shiva and krish 😕

Haha, thank you! I would have loved it if it was with drooling and admiring over ShiVi though.

Now I'm wondering how they'll even set up the conversation? They've single handedly destroyed a large portion of Raavi's character today by making her say that dialogue. It clearly seems like forcing her to be together with Shiva will only increase the hate she has for him.

I don't know if doing all of this is the CVs convoluted way of getting to the Shiva breakdown scene. His bhabi-maa doesn't want anything to do with him, his wife doesn't seem to trust him, and with Maami's arrival, it might be the spark to all for that... but the CVs have also diverged from the original so much that we might not even get to that...

I think raavi is used to shiva or Krish getting beaten by dhara if they did some mischief in the childhood and as they said they used to scare Dev sometimes too so may be all this felt normal for her and she 100% knew that Krish was innocent as shiva did something as he said Krish having an identity crisis and all so she dint have any reason to defend shiva and shiva has always disappointed her and never said something directly to her which makes her feel better

I dont have hopes from these writers.. Pata chale kal they ruin ShiSh as well.. Shiva hitting Raavi or Krish doing something bad. I have seriously lost trust in the makers. I will give them a couple of weeks max to correct their mistakes and show ShiVi, if they dont thats it no more PS for me

After her dialogue today it looked.like she doesn't even care if he is hit to the point of being injured.. her character was shown as a hypocrite today

I think this point is causing grief- Raavi is blowing hot and cold- so makers are unintentionally are raising and dropping expectations. The romance scenes appease ShiVi fans momentarily but in the long run no one is happy.

In the OG, Mullai’s character was constantly pissed with Kathir. I think a very important factor was that KM were not very touchy, so Mullai had 0 scope for physical attraction. The arc followed from Irritation to dislike, cautious understanding, then admiration and finally physical attraction. The storyline made complete sense.

I think the problem here is that like someone else mentioned in their post, ShiVi are much more explosive in terms of chemistry, and they would do lovely in a actual love story. The slow burn, in this case, does not make sense for them. With this much proximity, there is bound to be some physical attraction. But that gets muddled with the irritation and other issues, which frustrates the viewer. You think they are moving forward, but they are still stuck where they are initially.

Actaully, now that I think of it, physical attraction with complex issues is also a good story arc( it would be different from the OG, but since they are already deviating so much, how does it matter). They could go with this, but that would involve a lot more screen space for ShiVi
