Yes I agree.. the post trauma of both sexual harassment the domestic abuse have not been addressed in this show... Its sad and at times infuriating.. But like they say.. this is just a show 😔

Beautifully written and explained thread!! Even I feel that Sai's trauma has to be addressed. Her being sexually harassed for years, loosing her dad to the harasser and not being able to mourn or digest everything before Chavan niwas torture started followed by ousting by Virat. The girl stands up to one trauma and the other one starts, even though, she is a tough cookie, it must hurt her somewhere. She must be internalizing it. That threshold has to break if all those emotions not communicated, assured or channeled. As the thread explains how such victims deal with trauma by diverting their attention, overly smiling and I would like to say always up to something (because they never like to have empty head space to think about the past out of fear of becoming weak), hopelessly being optimistic about future even when they don't see light end of the tunnel. Sai is that case, hope one of her trauma is addressed if not all. I hope Virat understand it and helps her through that, normally, in ITV I won't expect ML to do that, but here the ML is a softy, so higher chances of it happening.

I do feel that her comfort with Virat when he touches her has been there from the beginning. One thing even though she never says it outload or accepts to him, but she does think of him as her husband. She is okay with his plutonic touches because he is her husband, but she breaks off of his touches that can be either way or can lead to non-plutonic stage. I am not sure that she does due to knowing his vada and love for PP, or she does feel scared of non-plutonic stage. It could be one or the other or both. However, Virat is her savior from Jagtap. He protected her in her most vulnerable state and now is her husband, so her comfort when Virat touches her is from someone who can't harm her, who protects her. But when Virat and her actually, get in to the real husband wife relationship, there can be apprehension from her side. The makers are making it all drama, but hope they go deeper in such human emotions and bring beautiful tracks. That way they have a chance to set new standard for ITV. They are already doing well due to SaiRat popularity then they are not at threat to try something amazing for betterment of the whole of ITV!!
