Undoubtly there is always an option of agree to disagree... But no one should deny that udit is technically no where near What sonu is capable of in singing, a monotonous singer like udit should not be even compare to versatile singers like sonu in my opinion which I have the right to have it :)

Udit is my fav having said that udit is a MONOTONOUS singer and he will be till eternity and nothing can change this , just having a good happy go voice can not hide his flaws/limitations as a singer that he can't sing various genre in music and will stay monotonous ever and ever and ever LOL... His singing is not compatible with the difficult singing of 60s era he was mere lucky that bollywood music went down to simple tunes like papa. Kehte hain or aye mere humsafar if not udit anyone can sing these 90s 2000 songs, but to sing rafi era song u need to have a strong command on vocals which udit lack in,

most of the 90's songs are simple and majority of udit narayan songs are flat notation songs no harqat no murki no difficult , aspect just poetic words nothing much to offer , more than songs they are Lorry, compare that to songs of 60's era where a romantic song used to be hugely difficult like rukh se zara naqab hatalo mere hurzoor, chahoonga main tujey saanj savere, baharoon phool barsow etc .. Sonu Nigam had sung so many complex difficult songs to his credit it makes him the singer compatible to rafi era singing aura including aziz and shabir kumar....Udit may have to reborn to practise those tough harqats, murki;s, ranges, classical elements , in this birth he just sang sir sir sir tu hai mere kiran , jadoo tere nazar , main yahan hoon , aye mere humsafar, mujey haq hai type lorries only his singing dont have much to offer to a connoisseur
