As my history knowledge is limited to the internet & wiki, I won't debate much. But what I think is that noone can rose to great heights all of a sudden if they were not mentally or physically trained for such stuffs and I guess Ahilya was no exception. And why not, every women of our society are forced or rather prefer to be a "behind the scene" type woman, else society won't accept them na, like Gautama Bai say.Well truth be told Ahilya was a behind the scenes woman till hubby died. And when hubby died she was all set to Commit sati It was after that she rose to Great heights. She was a behind the scenes woman and would not go barge into darbar nor speak
And ofcourse it take lots of guts, luck and need high ambitions to rule being a woman and that too during those times when Sati pratha was so popular, so I salute Ahilya Bai for that. And who used to go to Darbar and speak and how much household politics they do, I don't think those were actually written in history, so better not to publicly declare something when we don't know such minute stuffs.
