Absolutely agree. Some behave like they were present at the same time of Ahilyabai nd knows everything what she did.

Yes there were actually shows named on them. And in the show named Razia Sultan, the makers actually character assassinated Razia, you'd be amazed to know how they overglorified her husband by reducing her character to just a sidekick.

Were you too present at that time?? How do you know ahilya hadn't went yo durbar but was only going to kitchen for gautamabai?? Khanderao as shown by cvs is a idiot. Doesn't deserve to be a subedar. Ahilya was a normal person a woman having great qualities wisdom and intelligence . May be many ladies were intelligent at that time. But she had the chance to be great and she used it to her full capacity. She lived a normal life that of a queen lived with her hubby who must have been wayward. Many men are like that in those times . Precisely why FIL supported her . Why she started helping in state affairs . Most probably hubby did not have a problem with it since it did have any effect on his “self respect” . Since there were children involved later on FIL stopped her from committing sati. She did not commit sati only for the sake of her son the legal heir to the throne. When the son too died she still was the queen . Then was the time her qualities shone through and she became the karma yogini. The great queen the mother of all subjects. Her personal tragedies made her mind strong and she became mother of all subjects. She never fought for anything for her own self but only thought of her people. I don’t think even as a kid she bothered anyone spoke out of turn was adamant about anything or talked back to her MIL. I don’t think her MIL scolded her or punished her. So showing these cheap things is very disrespectful to the great lady. One does not have to be loud irritating talking back to be a great woman’s libber or emancipated. Strength lies within

They are showing Ahilyabhai as someone who goes to durbar like she is not able to control herself. , Interrupt anyone there in durbar even the king as someone who is unable to control herself boring anyone to death with her screechy high pitched voice, She is supposed to be mischievous which excuses most of her behaviour which includes but not limited to making the donkey bray at Khanderao among other things , back answer Gautama several times etc etc . Just because I was not “there” does that make whatever Ahilya is shown to be doing real? Leave alone other characters Ahilya is the loudmouth here with no other talent than a compassionate heart She speaks out of turn, touches others things without permission is also a little bit cunning. very very adamant and someone who did not get “inspired” by her brothers getting educated but suddenly wants to try her hand in the persuit of education and whose own father left the topic of her education in a cliff hanger and all this is this being done to show her as emancipated? at the age of nine? Somebody in another thread posted that she used to bring Khanderao from dancers house in a drunken state. Was that emancipation? She was going to commit sat. She did not refuse saying don’t I have a life of my own? So why is she shown like this? Is this not butchering her character like they did to other historical heroes in other serials?
