@Bold: Loved Anokhi's response, respectful, subtle but packed a punch. Her determination to find Shaurya showed clearly, I felt that even Tej was impressed for a minute. Astha was so proud of her fav student today. Anokhi openly accepted that she loved Shaurya in front of Sab family. Shagun's plan to instigate BM and humiliate Anokhi failed, even BM seemed shocked at turn of events. Unfortunately Ahir was not there but he got to hear it from Anokhi several times when she lost it with him in an earlier sequence.
@red: I think Shagun is at a distinct disadvantage as is BM. Shaurya has changed , Anokhi is unlike anyone they have ever met. Astha might be willing to take strong steps to reconnect with her son to correct her 25 year old mistake and she has influence both on Anokhi and Shaurya through Anokhi. I think Shaurya still yearns for her but he wants her to acknowledge her mistake and his pain. Kanchan is willing to break the shackles to Sab house, it is yet to be seen how far Yash is willing to go. He might get inspired by Shaurya. In other words the landscape of Sab family is changing at the most fundamental level- soch and relationships. Devgun are still betting on things running the old way.
Couple of other observations-
1)Now that Yash and Kanchan have been dragged in, they might have a better chance to catch and retain Vineet. BTW the show has really shoddy police work. If Ahir knew Vineet would return, first thing to do was to send cops there to keep an eye on it and try to arrest him, Instead Anokhi was depending on poor Babli to hold him back. But maybe now Kash have a stronger role to play in the story.
2)My most hated and nikamma character in the show at the moment is Shaan. I just don't get him- is he truly that brainless and blind? He blames Anokhi for accident and kidnapping which I can see why given he has shown to be extremely emotional and spineless person but how can he not see the role his family has played in it all. Astha is just his opposite, she is emotional but fair and reasonable. I can't figure out why they made the character that way, though it seems more reasonable. It is classic Sab men mold, in some ways Yash is very much like that too. I have always wondered why Shaan did not do anything for 25 years and drowned himself in alcohol and self pity neglecting his son (a symbol of their love) if he truly loved Astha. I always wondered why he never defended Astha and let BM brainwash Shaurya knowing that Shaurya is beginning to hate Astha. I wondered why he did not divorce her -was it because it set not only him but Astha free too and that was not acceptable to him. My hypothesis is he was punishing Astha indirectly for walking away from him. He neglected Shaurya not because he reminded Shaan to his lost love but because he reminded Shaan of his marital failure. He is just as mysogynistic as rest of the family. I wonder when Shaurya realizes that his father was just as much at fault as his mom, if he will be more willing to forgive Astha.
3)Ahir's dreams came crashing down today. I don't blame him for falling in love or wanting Anokhi, she is truly impressive. However he might have to step back again though he might get an opportunity to try again if Sab family get their way.
4)Precap has me dreaming of possibility of some romance and an opportunity for reconciliation enough that couple can have a decent conversation later. I think it does not matter who saves Shaurya. The fact that Anokhi came to see Shaurya after accident and he could feel her distress and she was involved enough to accuse her BIL to save him should be proof enough for Shaurya that she loves him dearly. That should be enough for him to take an action. She just does not see a life together for them. It is upto Shaurya to prove that.
