Just wrapped up Episode 27 (clearly I am trailing behind, and that too, big time!) 😀

A much better episode than the previous one...

At least, we got to see our good old Zain...back in the fray!👍

For starters, liked the fact that he was actively looking for a job...long overdue, actually!

Zoya clearly continues to be in her “Taana” mode, with “Tanaa”, no where in sight!

Guess the writers forgot somewhere along the way that this drama is called “Tanaa Banaa”!!

Anyway, coming back to the epi, really liked how Zoya’s mom admonished her, when she once again, was in fultoo nagging mode, about Zain!!!

Zoya just needs to let Zain be!! Har waqt, uski Masterni banney ki koi zaroorat nahin...

Zain and Zoya’s Ammi have struck a beautiful understanding...with some genuine care and concern as well...most importantly, she (unlike even Zain’s own family), gives him the respect of an adult...she is the only one, who has observed and identified, Zain’s sense of responsibility!👌

Zoya and Fauzia’s bond continues to be endearing...it’s just that, both of them, are still, sadly, missing the big picture!

Shifting gears a little bit, LOVED the Zain-Zoya coffee date...very well written and enacted too, by both Danyal and Alizeh...

These two have such a natural chemistry about them...came shining through, once again, in the scene!❤️

The HIGHLIGHT of the episode just had to be the Zain-Dadi scene...

Very well-placed, for starters...

I, for one, surely wasn’t expecting them...at the gate!

Billoo was super cute in his “Salaam alekkum Zain bhai”

Dadi’s smile (on seeing Zain) had reached her eyes!
Zain being cross with Dadi was beautifully handled in the next scene...in the room.

The boy was genuinely hurt...that his dearest Dadi hadn’t stopped him...I had sensed it in the said scene as well...when Zain’s eyes were searching for Dadi...but she, helplessly, had to look away...

SUPERLATIVE touch that!👏

Danyal’s voice modulation...to express his hurt...was spot on!

Ismatji is obviously a veteran!

Alizeh added her own touch to the scene...with her subtle expressions...

The CLINCHER...Zain’s spontaneous “pehle sab itne hi hote hain”

Our quintessential Zain is obviously back!😁

The scene concluded beautifully...as Billoo, most respectfully, “reprimanded” his darling Zain bhai (just LOVE the equation of the 2 brothers...the bond is so subtly done)🤗

And Zain, immediately understood...

As he apologised. most earnestly, to Dadi....

👏👏👏

Billoo is clearly smarter, than both Zain and Zoya....

They proved it, yet again, at the end of the episode...

Was irritated with Zain’s “thanks to my family” sarcasm....without including Zoya in the same...but was definitely mighty pleased, as he gave it back to Zoya, immediately after....”dimaag, jo Zoya ke paas bilkul nahin hai”!!

Sad but true....seems like dimaag aayega bhi nahin...Zoya main...at least, is season main toh nahin!

Glad that it's ending tomorrow. This drama had potential but zoya's irritating character made it boring. There was not any growth in any character. Zoya is still the same.

Episode 28 khatam hua....my heart goes out to Zain...but will come to that in a bit...

The epi started on a good note...Zain’s hilarious “Meri jal gayi”...regaling himself, with his own pagalpanti, as he muttered on the phone, “Kisi aur ko bata raha tha!”

Was a split second moment, but Danyal’s expression was spot on!👍

Zain ki toh sach main jal rahi thi...jo kasar baaki thi, woh Zoya ki lukewarm response ne puri kar di! 🤨

Have a major question to ask the makers today...

Is Zoya just a half baked and inconsistently written character or does she suffer from a split personality disorder???

Will the real Zoya please stand up??!!

I mean she is the same girl, right, who is so caring towards her mother-in-law....literally, goes out of her way to take care of her mom-in-law’s feelings...

How can this girl then, be so indifferent to Zain’s unadulterated and abundant reservoir of love??!!

Am actually beginning to think that it’s more a case of callous, not to mention poor writing, with not as much attention given to Zoya’s character arc, as has been give to Zain’s...

And no, I cannot take Season 2 as the answer...that there is possibly a next season being planned....and, THAT, will focus on Zain and Zoya mending their relationship, while this season has focused on Zain coming of age!

For God’s sake, the drama is not called “Wake up Zain”!!!

Truth be told, Zoya has much MORE growing up to do, than does Zain!

What more evidence does one require for the above, than, was Zoya’s most impudent response to Zain, in the car??!!

For the first time, got the feeling that it’s not Zain’s immaturity, but Zoya, that is the epicentre...to Zain’s misbehaviour...towards his family....towards himself!

Case in point...

Zoya announcing “Mujhe ismain koi masla nazar hi nahin aata”

Arey bhai, agar khud ka dimaag nahin hai, toh apne shohar ki baat to maan liya karo!!!

It was her unrelenting indifference towards Zain that got him to behave in the way that he did...in the car!!

All that Zoya needed to tell him was that they could plan their dinner date the next night, since that night was already committed to Ammi! As simple as that!

Knowing the Zain that we do...he would have sulked a little bit, but definitely agreed...in fact, would have even volunteered to drop her to their place, after his interview was done...

Duffer kahin ki!😡

The HIGH POINT of the episode just had to be Furquan and Zain’s meeting...

The dinner table scene had already set the tone...although imaginary...was very beautifully done!👌

There was a FANTASTIC life lesson that came through, from Zain’s future Boss as he said to Zain “Hum sochtey kuch hai aur hota kuch hai, Jab ki hona kuch aur chahiye”

Wah! Mashallah!❤️
LOVED the expressions on Zain and Furqan’s faces, all through the scene in the room...

As Zain experienced gratitude

With Furqanuddin experiencing relief...on his son’s well-being...

LOVED, absolutely LOVED the follow-through moment of the father-son conversation by the lift...

The tonality of the start

And

The poignancy of the end

With a heartfelt moment interspersed in between...communicated through a simple, but extremely powerful “Akeley”!

👏👏👏

It’s these nuanced moments that still make TB the gem that it is...

Despite the glitches

Despite the obvious loopholes

It is most definitely a major step in the right direction!

P.P.S.: He is undoubtedly an extremely good-looking guy, but looks particularly dapper in those bespoke suits! Something tells me that they’re a part of his personal wardrobe...’cos they’re not just classy but super trendy as well!👍

I liked the ending. Zoya finally said I love you too . I really like Zain's family dynamic because it's so positive and something we don't generally see in Pakistani TV; instead we see a cunning bhabhi, greedy devar, mean saas, etc. Here everyone's fun and light about everything, even the contract! I absolutely enjoyed the show; although yes both characters had some flaws. However, at least they didn't show them as holier-than-thou or full-fledged negative.

I feel like people took this show so personally though. Stories are enjoyable when you don't have to take them to heart. Yes, Zain/Zoya had flaws but that doesn't necessarily make either of them a bad person. Just because the guy is chasing the girl, doesn't always make the girl obnoxious or annoying.

Anyways, I liked the show. Maybe a little bit more could show of Zoya-Zain romance, but it was good. Danyal has a bright future ahead.

What an absolutely GORGEOUS episode! Am referring to the penultimate episode...just finished watching episode 29...

Sabse pehle toh my happiness knows no bounds...they actually showed Zain driving Zoya to his parents’!!!

God! Just can’t believe that I had mentioned something exactly similar about Zain’s possible reaction to Zoya, for the scene in the car...in my analysis of the previous episode!!!

I think I am going to pat myself on the back...of knowing Zain sahab really well!😁

Zain sahab it for sure, was...what a LOVELY start to the episode...as Zain was in introspection mode...that soliloquy with himself, as he ruminated in the verandah of the house...not his house, for sure...

Danyal’s ASTOUNDING Voice modulation and Dialogue Delivery!

I actually heard those lines twice over...with my eyes shut, the second time around...

Cross my heart as I say this...have watched some of the best Pakistani dramas, with some really seasoned actors in them...but, the last time I felt this kind of a deep-rooted and soulful connection was in ZGH...during Zaroon and Kashaf’s musing sessions....

I say this in all earnestness...Danyal Zafar is most certainly, a talented young man!👏👏👏

The GORGEOUSNESS of the episode continued in the Zain-Zoya interaction...

As Zain was busy phekoing around his achievements...until he was caught red-handed...

Aur uske baad...if his dual personality disorder comment was not hilarious enough, Zain topped it up with his quintessential “Achha cameras kahan hain...main kahan wave karoon...haan ji, main hi hoon woh”....to the final, blink and you miss it “Hmm” from Zain...at the fag end of the scene!!😂🤣😇

The quintessential Zain was obviously in full form today...and, in no mood to relent...

The setting with Shahid phupha and Zoya (pun unintended) was a sight to behold...

From chiding Zoya

To asking Shahid Phupha in all earnestness “Aapko itna sa bhi regret nahin hua??”😆

To missing his family, but not admitting to it..

To the outpouring of his shikayetein and misgivings

To Shahid Phupha shelling out his pearls of wisdom...”Sau baat ki ek baat! Ma Baap kabhi aulad ke Dushman nahin hote”

To Zain’s pensive expression on hearing the same...

OUTSTANDING, simply OUTSTANDING!!

All was not over yet!

The entire family was obviously missing Zain as much as he was, them...

Zain’s repartee to Zeb Phupho “Achha yeh hamari teacher hai??” was complete ROFL!!

Dekha jaaye, toh with Zeb Phupho, puri family hi milne aa chuki thi, Zain se, except Zain ki ammi...

The irony of the situation...Zain possibly loves his Ammi the most, and vice-versa!💗

LOVED, absolutely LOVED Zain’s gesture of taking Zoya over...

That’s the Zain we know...

And, that’s the Zain we love...

To conclude, have to say that this episode belonged to Danyal Zafar...from start to finish, the guy was ON FIRE!

I have said this earlier...will repeat myself, despite sounding like a broken record...

He just needs to keep his head solidly over his shoulders....and keep honing his skill sets...

Danyal Zafar can be that rare combination of a STAR-ACTOR!🤞

P.S.: A part of me is really sad that there is only one more episode of TB, that I will be watching...the drama had become an integral part of my life...would look forward to watching it every night, and then rushing to the forum, to share my thoughts...anyway, for now, hoping and praying that the series has ended on a high (couldn’t tell much from the precap)...Tanaa Banaa will always remain close to my heart! ❤️

Everything is well if end is well.

So it ended nicely. As i have no hopes from this drama but still last episode was fine. Zoya accepted that she did that deliberately and she confessed her love.

Zain zoya are back home and everyone is happy

yet to catch up on last 3-4 episodes, will finally marathon watch it..;)
