Just wrapped up Episode 26...
For the first time, am putting together a post on TB, with mixed feelings...
And that’s because of the line that Zain mouthed to Zoya...”Mujhe sirf tumhari fikar hai, aur kisi aur ki koi parvah nahin”!!
Very poor writing, that...completely out of character, for Zain!👎
Can completely understand Zain’s sense of “freedom”...even his gay abandon...he actually meant it when he said he was claustrophobic in his house! Sadly, thanks to his immaturity, the root cause analysis of the same was only partial!
But, for Zain, to simply declare that he just doesn’t care....is definitely not the Zain we know!
He can be angry...he can even be hurt, with his family...the “unko realise karna chahiye” was also typically, Zain...
The bottom line...he is certainly self-centered, but surely not a selfish young man!
There is a fine line between the two...sadly, it was crossed....Mr. Hassaan Imam, you got Zain grossly wrong today!!!
Zoya continues to be Ms. High n Mighty and live in her la la land!!
Truly happy that her mother cut her to size...at least, somewhat, that is...
If only Zoya understood the real meaning of her Ammi’s advice of “Woh uske aur uske Ma ke beech ki baat hai”....Zain would have learnt his lesson, rather than she having to teach him one!
This is what forced me to actually think today...seems like the remainder of the drama will focus on Zain realising his folly, etc.
Will be a pity though, if Zoya doesn’t realise hers!!
The “Tanaa Banaa” of this new-age couple trying to find their rhythm will be incomplete without BOTH of their introspection!
Zain desperately needs to get a life...most importantly, get over his “Zoya, Zoya” mode! LOL
Zoya needs to understand AND value Zain’s presence in her life!
But will we be privy to that...is the million dollar question!!
Sincerely hoping that BOTH these facets are ADEQUATELY captured....
This drama has been lovely up until now...hope they can end it, also on a high! :)
The mixed feelings that I mentioned at the beginning of the post, would be incomplete, without me mentioning what I liked about the episode...
Danyal was simply OUTSTANDING! 👏👏👏
This guy is just KILLING it!
From where do I even begin...
Right from the first scene...with the innocuous “Hello”, when he lands up at the doorstep...suitcase in tow...”teen chaar din”....to the matter-of-fact “hafta dus din”...to “shart...phirse shart?? Achha, Bolo kya shart?”.....I was most definitely, grinning from ear to ear!!😂😂😂
Thereafter, the “charsi” comment...another ROFL moment!
Zain being Zain, there was obviously more to follow...,
“Kaisa”?? Lattsaheb ke tareh baithey they with an uber cool “Chillin”!!😀
With that little nuance at the end of the scene, after Zain thanked Zoya’s mom, as he wasn’t just sipping the coffee (or was it tea?)....he was actually relishing it!🤗
The BEST was obviously saved for the last!
Danyal just ACED it at the breakfast table scene! 👍👏👌
Alizeh was also good, but Danyal just nailed it!
He had some BRILLIANT lines, and his expressions and dialogue delivery were totally on point!
Even the actress playing Zoya’s Mom was actually laughing!😀
The guy like literally has a Pandora’s box of expressions in his kitty...
TB has given him a fab opportunity to showcase his talent, and he has utilised it to the maximum possible, indeed!
Most definitely, the mark of an intelligent actor!👍
Last but definitely not the least, Javeria was also very good today...the scene in her room...her conversation with Zoya...and finally, the scene in Zain’s room as well...
As I conclude, let’s see what the next (and final few episodes) have in store...
The precap seemed interesting...let’s see where things are finally headed! *fingers and toes crossed*
Cheers!
