Thanks!

I like this idea of Raghav's business, it will be interesting to see this on TV. And yes, it will even be more interesting to see him rise above it and rebuild, but this time, morally. Hope that does happen. I just feel bad for writers to keep on changing stories just because of some damned TRPs.

Yea, both of them have their own code of conduct, RR's is more pragmatic in real life, he does good but he never puts himself on the sacrificial table, unless its for his family. Pallavi's is the one that always makes me fear her because of her need to put her throat on the line for every tom dick and harry. She's not done this so far, but she does have the tendency of mahanta in her, which is typical SP bahu's......I wish to see this new Pallavi longer, hope they keep her this way!

Great write up. Agree with most of the points and couldn't have written better👍

Just my two cents on the morality of Pallavi and Raghav. Both of them are shown as do-gooders. Even raghav has been shown to good at a personal cost. So much that even his enemy ved knows that Raghav will drop his gun if another person's life is at stake (Ved had no idea if raghav had any special interest in pallavi). Just that R operates under his personal code of ethics and P under the itv FL ethics 🙄.

My prediction - of course in a non TRP ruled world would be Raghav facing losses in business. After all his business if not entire chunk, a part of it is ill-begotten. Such wealth does not remain for long. It would be justice if he rebuilds his wealth by fair play may be in a leap. I think the incident where he advised pallu to leave the fraud lady on mansi's sangeet without a police complaint would come back to bite his ass. Such people do not change and next time it could be something more damaging than damaged sarees.

I hope so too, actually her repeated fainting is also something that's still hanging....like you said, angst is so welcome right now, it just adds to the actors kitty to enact such scenes.

@viewpoint- About the impending doom, I didn't get any such feeling from Pallavi's actions per se though when they showed her repeatedly fainting, the thought of a tragic ending did cross my mind..but I hope that's not the case here.. I want the love story to be intense, passionate and angsty but not tragic..

Bold - I so agree, and it's definitely a topic on its own. I can go on and on about the flaws of that film but let me stay put 😆

I agree, life sucks right now, it will be nice to watch romance and light moments. I do wish them to get their ultimate happiness even if its after difficult circumstances. Just don't want the story to peak and then stagnate at romance prematurely. About ratings, I hope the near future can rid itself of this pathetic daily formats. Dhajiya hojati hai story ki.

I am also unsure of Raghav's course of action. This boi is so unpredictable, he puts volcanoes to shame. Let's hope its interesting but more importantly, we get a satisfying redemption.

Padmavat is well, another madness at it's best. Ranveer Singh overwhelming everyone else.😆

Yaar, I get your point, but life itself sucks bad. So I would prefer anything but tragedy. And as far as this story is concerned, both characters are introduced with tragic circumstances, so they should get their due in happiness. I know pain and struggle make us better individuals, but it also makes us cherish the happiness. So yes, the tragedy you are looking for is in their struggle to be with each other and reach a point where they can cherish each moment together, whenever they realize the partnership, companionship and love for each other.

But yes, ITV will screw the story for ratings. So watch it as long as it lasts bro.

These people are such nutjobs, now it seems that they will do an overall thunderclap on his head and all that he has done will overwhelm him. His guilt will wash away his hate, unless it is washed away before that due to the time he spends with her. He may already start feeling for, and these knots getting untied, may just break through the dam of feelings he never realized he had for Pallavi. Let's see how they take. I am not sure.

I saw some clippings of the first episode where he's in a nightclub partying away, he surely has his way with women. It will be interesting to see him keep away, though after that one episode we have not witnessed any rendezvous with women coz Pallu came and took over his mind space. I think its also an SP thing where they start with a character of gray shades then they water it down (they did so for Arnav too).

He definitely is not the cheating types, he may have had a colorful life but if he's committed, he will be 100% into it. For Pallavi, he can say this is a marriage of convenience only, but everyone knows how smitten he is with her. Even if they do not initially share a husband wife space, she will always be on his mind and that will stop him from getting closer to other women coz frankly, no one is as good as her. Plus, he does have his rulebook, as much as Pallavi thinks he doesn't. Once in a while we do see his nicer sides.

Well, he can't go partying anymore or bring women home, now that Amma are Keerti are here. You'd think he'd want to spend quality time with them. So yes, being celibate is his only option. Something tells me though, that even if he calls this marriage a deal and isn't in love with Pallavi, he would never have an affair or 'cheat on Pallavi'. It's just a matter of principles for him.

I enjoy this Pallavi so much, I hope they keep her longer. It's fun to watch RR sweating and shifting 😆

Definitely, it's information overload for him right now, but he also took it well, the guy has a way of handling things, not a wonder he is where he is. He also thinks his life is amma and keerti, but he cheats himself. He eats, drinks and thinks Pallavi, all the time since he's met her.

Im gonna enjoy watching this Pallavi, till the time they again decide to dumb her down. She seems to have gotten a new lease of life eversince she walked outta that door from D house.. She is sassy, she is unpredictable and she is feisty in actions not just in words.. Ye Pallavi garajti kam hai barasti zyada hai.. The image of the broken girl, with slouching shoulders, who looked defeated and lost during the wedding, is in stark contrast with the woman who introduced herself as Mrs. Pallavi Raghav Rao. Her body language gait, even the aura around her is different. No wonder Raghav looked so puzzled.. This wasn't the Pallavi he was used to, who was mostly all talk and no action.. This Pallavi seems to know what she is doing, she is crafty and unpredictable, keeps her cards close to her.. What I liked about this whole stunt she pulled infront of everyone, is actually how out of character it was for her to do something like that. She totally caught everyone by surprise by the sheer boldness of her move. I also think, no actually Im hoping that the widow truth is not something he will not care about or ponder over.. he definitely has registered it in his subconscious, given how he was curious to know if Farhad and Amma knew about it and if he was the only one in dark this whole time.. Not sure what aspect of her being a widow, is gonna affect him if at all.. the fact that despite not being a Deshmukh by birth, she was devoted to this extent to save the family honor or the fact that she had a husband whom she probably loved at some point or still does..or the fact that she never gave the vibe that she had suffered so much personal loss in her life.. Maybe right now its too much information to process for someone like Raghav whose day begins and ends on his amma and Keerthi..Also, the new twist she has given to the deal he had drafted, will mean that he will have a constant threat looming over his head of losing his family again if he doesnt play acoording to the rules thay she has set now.. Deal it still is, but now its not a one sided affair..atleast she has made sure of that. So well played Mrs.Pallavi Raghav Rao.. and that's exactly the vibe I got when the song " ek dil hai ek jaan hai" played.. There was sense of pride and admiration, he had in his eyes and that faint smile, and the lyrics of the song somehow brought out that feeling even if the context was different from original scene..I love laal ishq too and I always picturise RaghVi when I listen to that song but I feel for this particular scene, the song they chose was better suited.. ek dil hai, ek jaan hai, dono tujhpe qurbaan hai.. he was admiring her and the worthy opponent she has turned out to be..

It's a combination of his principles, plus the fact that now he's found a woman who isn't like the others who throw themselves at him, he won't be interested in them anymore. Except if he wants to make her jealous in future, of course, a la EK shows (yuck). The fact that she won't show interest in him as a husband and as a man, will make her more and more interesting of a challenge that he wants to win. He won't get any of those thrills in a nightclub. Besides, we know that he used to do those things to fill the void and loneliness he used to feel, and with Amma and Keerti home, hopefully that has been alleviated.

I would really love it if they moved to doing seasons or proper finite series. The few that I've scene were amazing and the channel at times backed them till the end. The writing stays crisp and relevant throughout.

As for Raghav's unpredictability, I love him because of that! I am so tired of seeing the same ML arcs over and over and often one-dimensional (read boring).
