Adi has made his priorities CRYSTAL CLEAR....lol usko ghanta farak padta hai kaun kis college mein padhaata hai.....his concern has always been Imlie primarily.....AC types can call him all the ghatiya names in the world, but he won't back down from showing ki usko apni Jhalli se hi matlab hai.....Duniya ko jo sochna hai sochte rahein.....😆.....Didi also knows he hardly a damn what she thinks isliye bechaargi ka naatak kar rahi hai to save face and hide from people just how little Adi is actually bothered about her since she is still lounging around in his house😆

IT is not a conventional love story where Girl hyperventilates seeing the "gora chamkila, lamba, set baal wala" guy!! Though she has always held him in high esteem after he Saved Satyakaam in PD...She had never FALLEN for him literally...

In the bus scene where she says" Darr lagta hai jo dil mein hai woh zubaan par na aaye!" BBBS thought it was their secret..but I believe she meant to say that she might blurt out her love for him...even though she said it while she was deeply hurt...she herself might not have understood in its entirety.

Even sub consciously she defends him like when BK asked her "kiss bail buddhi ne tuje PD mein padhaya tha!" She actually tells him to pack his bags in case she doesnt score well...But her love is different..she is not fawning over him..she tells him to "apne par kaanfidence hona chahiye"😆 She gives him that confidence when he doesnt know he needs it...she keeps him the courage to do what he does best...follow the rightest path!!

@bold: And that's exactly it....her love for Adi is not meant to be one that weakens....her love is all about trying to strengthen him, support him, boost his confidence, motivate him.....they both actually do these things for each other as true partners.....just that Adi's way of doing it is more direct than hers since he is in that older/guardian role in her life too😆.....but Imlie very much does the same things for him in her own subtle ways.......that is the beauty of their love for each other....it's not about any of the typical mushy things like fawning around, hyperventilating etc.....they are the ultimate old school definition of love.....which is all about saath and supportiveness. It just sometimes is not apparent to people cuz even their ways of saath and supportiveness are not direct right now given the limitations of their situation.....lol

All of Adi's angst right now isn't even about whether she loves him or not😆.....he already knows she does.....but because she is able to sambhaalo herself better in her love for him than he is, usko yeh gussa and tadap hota rehta hai ki here I am barely able to exist without her and she's going to keep acting like I have no place in her life's decisions? 😆.....he both admires her emotional strength and also gets frustrated by it cuz he himself isn't able to manage that level of emotional strength😆

That both awes and humbles him....atleast till now it did...And he has said it so many times...in the hostel "Tum humein pyaar nahi karti,,,,,par hum karte hai!" Even during that pre-interview fight with MAdini he had said "she will face every challenge alone...but I want to be there for her..ALWAYS!!"

The way he held her hands when she landed in Delhi "Kya tum bhi humein itna yaad kar rahi thi!!"

He knows that but his obvious tadap is not reciprocated by her stoic stance...AS you so rightly put...her ability to function inspite of this dishevel in her life is so awesome..a quality Adi admires...but right now it is making him go bonkers😆

I actually love that in Adi...his ability to put himself so openly bare in her hands...giving her so much of power over him..inspite of knowing that she is perfectly able to function independently ...waiting for her to give him that haq on her own volition!!

We have sat on the back seat of bikes of our various relatives from brothers to jijajis to any random friends. No one behaves like this in real life ki bike ki backseat is reserved only for their partner😆.

That way actually they are both very different from how typical characters show intense love/concern for each other.....Adi is still more about his gussa/taane than any typical intense loverboy.....lol yes he shows his intense passion for her from time to time but on a base level, he's still very different in expressing his love than a typical ML who gets all mushy😆.

It is so refreshing to see a girl love so deeply but not be driven by that in the sense that she can't see beyond that and have her own thoughts and her own decision making skills intact and yeah her reactions and decisions might be due to her love for Aditya but that not be the only cause for them . That she holds her opinions and her strength. In that way aditya's love has only made her even more stronger. She is a Force ro reckon in when she comes to.her own.. there is only so much she will take and I admire that.. I admire that she can LOVE so deep and still it not be the universe of her existence.. and the only thing in her life.. yet as you said below she doesn't put him directly above things yet in many ways she does.. his khushi does take superiority if only he realizes that too.. hahab she does so much for him but without rubbing it in yo face..

Waise log bhool jaate hain ki show ka theme song literally is about how she's left the whole world to be with him😆....Piya tose milne, chhoda hai saara jahaan......just cuz they aren't showing it in the typical way of her doing some jaap about how her world revolves around him doesn't mean that she still hasn't put him above a lot of things in her life....she shows his value and meaning in her life in her own way without being debilitated by it....that's the interesting part.

Yes as I say this adi is my fav adi caz jo haq iss wale babusahib ke ravaiye main chalakta hai woh aur kahan haha.. his pyaar wali Daants do it for me hehe
