Small question, did raavi change her decision to wear that peach dress to black coz shiva said she'll look chipkaliyon ki beauty queen.. coz they showed the flashback there.. was that a way to show what effect shiva's words have on her???
I think so... I interpreted the scene as both of them didn't want to be belittled by the other. Raavi clearly commented about his dressing choice before and Shiva commented how she would be the Chipkali Beauty Queen.
Shiva probably wanted to let her know that he was capable of dressing and grooming himself well. Which is why he stared at her for those few seconds longer and watched for his reaction. Raavi probably wanted to show Shiva she was not some chipkali, and definitely not a chipkaliyon ki beauty queen, which is why she touched her hair and seemed to stand a little taller after breaking out of her shock of seeing Shiva.
I think both of them affect each other... but not in the romantic sense as of now. I think they just want to show the other that those taunts don't apply to them. Once they realize the taunts don't apply, I think that's when they'll begin to respect each other and see each other as humans. And I think that's where their romance will begin...
