Sensing Inappropriate Behaviour and importance of male consent

The sixth sense of women is often talked about when they can intuitively feel if someone is making a move on them or not.

Though our society has made women more vulnerable to this, men feel it too.

I assume Krishna has not overheard Meera, and if that is the case, he is acting paranoid because he can clearly sense that Meera is acting more than expected normal behaviour towards him.

We speak so much about consent of mind and body for women, but here we have a mother, sister and wife, pushing a man to forcibly like a woman he is not interested in. And not by social behaviour, but by getting her to enter his bedroom and be close to him in physical proximity.

Just flip genders and think, how would a woman feel if a man is forced on her with emotional blackmail by her husband, brother and father?

Just because Krishna is a man, he cannot have non-consensual sexual discomfort can be assumed to move on easily into the sheets with another woman??

I am a firm believer of feminism and hence believe that men can also feel sexually vulnerable and violated. The fact is not about Krishna's mother conspiring all this, it is about Pratigya thinking not being honest with Krishna and replacing herself with a random woman is the right thing to do.

This season of MKAP is a decade older than the previous one and the audience's sensibilities have evolved. Makers should stop justifying toxic behaviour which they justified in past like Stockholm Syndrome, forgiving cheating spouses, women bi***ing about other women etc.

If at all this is the only track makers can work on in lockdown, I hope its not justified this time.

I hope Krishna gives some gyaan to Pratigya, with or without the exposition, that just because she assumes she is dying, she cannot impose any random girl on Krishna without his consent!!!

Pratigya has no right to force that girl on Krishna, she lost her brain somewhere in the jungle. What nonsense they are showing in the name of drama. In the precap Pratigya is teaching sanskar to Krishna 😡😡😡when she herself gave that sari to that girl and send her to her hubby. Wow CV's what a mahan sanskari bahu 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Pearl mam please don't butcher the characters

And this is why I stopped watching the show. I know what is going to happen and that Pratigya will stop being Pratigya and become a typical "mahaan" bahu who would force another woman on her unwilling husband.

Chee!

I read the written update and I am so disgusted. She got that woman to dress like her and fool her husband. She was okay with some woman getting close to her husband, a married man. Just imagine the emotional trauma the man would be going through if this was real.

I agree with all your points.

Exactly it's 2021

Man and woman are equal. If woman consent is important for any kind of relationship than men's consent is equally important

Nobody is going to listen us, this torture is going to continue. Pratigya totally forgetten what is sahi or galat, kanoon, athyachar, these all her favorite words.

She is doing injustice to both her beloved husband and that girl.

Feeling really bad for Krishna, 😥

It's not about Mahaanta, there is nothing mahaan about this here.

You are violating your husband's physical private space and emotionally scarring him. Even the married man thing is not a factor here. There are many cases where couples voluntarily bring a third person in, and its okay as long as consent of all three is involved. We saw a track like this in Kalank movie and it was still fine.

Krishna is gonna be all clueless on why his wife is suddenly all passive aggressive with him and he is deliberately being pushed to another woman he clearly doesn't like or is comfortable with.

Meera doesn't like when Shakti makes a move on her and is doing the same with Krishna. Yes it's about her consent too, but she is making it look like the forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest.

It is in the world of Indian serials.

The end justify the means here in their book. If Krishna has to have his space violated for Pratigya to make sure he's not lonely after her death, she's going to do it regardless of his feelings, your feelings or our feelings. Such things are classed as "Mahaan" by them. By keeping her illness a secret from her husband, it will be classed as a "mahaan" act too.
