Waiting for the truth to come was her excuse. If only she had the courage to listen she doesnt need to wait. She asks for the truth but is not ready for it. And he knows her in and out for the past 7 years that shes not ready to face the truth.

I also think that perhaps he knew she was making up that love story.

Aditya is surely a odd one out in that kuch zyada warmth wala parivaar. But I also think he is the one with most convictions and principles too. He is not particularly nice but he is not weak minded either. He has a firm and fair mind. Even with all the mess he made, his sense of right and wrong is very much intact. I don’t know if I would say the same for the rest of his family.
