Watched the Haute Review, and finally a well balanced review where they point out that Feed-Mahi are immature, flawed, but this is again their story, they will evolve as their love and longing takes new turns. Feedi's curse was wrong, and everyone is saying that it is wrong, even the writer said that it is wrong, but does that make his love for Mahi wrong, no, the stage he is in, it is his character flaw where emotions like ego/distress overpowered his human virtues, will he stay like this or will he have a journey of realization is the main plot indeed.
I loved how positive Hassan was, Aamna is always positive so no complains. I disagree with Aamna though, Mahi isn't confused, her eyes, just as Feedi said and even Hassan mentioned, her eyes does not speak what her mouth did. Also, i wonder why Hassan raised the question of why doesn't Feedi think about Taimoor's love? I mean why should Feedi even go to that tangent? Does that even make any sense? Feedi knows that the debate wasn't even is Taimoor a match? The debate was all about does Mahi validate Feedi's love? Hassan better does not deviate the debate into something as redundant as Taimoor's feelings now (which no way matters to the story anymore). Also, I like the 'oye hoye' on Mahi's paor run, Hassan-Aamna are fans I tell you guys, they are just like ke 'oye hoye' laila running for majnu, it is such a typical fan moment, wonder how we will swallow the actual scene 🤪
Aamna is another one, she called Feroze and asked for spoilers 🤣.. Why did she think Feroze would reveal something which everyone wants to know? Ye kya mazaak tha 🤣. I think she called him to ask that 'how does it feel being a Farhad? 🤪
Last but not the least, the performances, Feroze-Iqra were brilliant, thank you Hassan and Aamna for acknowledging the episode, the performances and the 100 volts current we all got in the library scene, especially the parallels of him entering and Mahi holding the book of KAM, beautiful indeed. Furthermore, shout out to Hassan for clarifying that if you think this story shall match S1 then please think out of the box, it is a new and completely different story, watch it as a show where you watch the story from a new perspective and it definitely is about both God and Love.
