Sajna instrumental and also the split screen now has only Imlie and Adi. As far as I remember till now whenever they showed a split screen they had Malini in that too. So, can we now assume that Malini presence would be less from now on. She had taken so much footage the last 2 weeks, will be so glad if ut reduces now.

I'm pretty new here and so I don't know if I am allowed to say much. And I also apologise in advance if my post is found offensive or intruding. Getting straight to the matter, I feel like everyone's reactions towards Malini is a bit unjustified. Before I continue, don't worry, I'm not a didi japne wala. Just trying to point out what I felt was lacking.

IMO, Star Plus has almost always shown 3 characters: The ML, the FL and the sautan. And here in Imlie too, audience have been taking the same approach. But what we have to understand here is that all the characters here are flawed and it doesn't mean we have to unload all the blame on someone. Like others have tried to point out in other threads, Malini is portrayed in shades of grey. She is not some sautani manipulator who has rachaoed a giant plan.

I am not justifying her act of suicide or her lie. What is wrong is wrong. However, viewing things from her perspective, she has been wronged. Again, she doesn't know the whole truth and her acting out before knowing was also a sin. But she doesn't know the truth. She is someone who loves Aditya with all her heart. She is a wife who has just realised that her husband could be cheating on her with a girl whom she considered a sister. In her opinion, Imlie arrived yesterday whereas she has been in a relationship for Adi for 7 years. And so if she lashes out, it is the way she is trying to cope with all the changes in her life. Again I'm not saying that it was the right thing to do, I am only saying that she is a human being with flaws who is trying to deal with the situation in the only way she knows how to.

As for the Tripatis, I'm with y'all on that. :)

Disagree completely. Nobody is calling her a typical sautan or judging her over that. She is being judged for her petty, manipulative and classist behavior. Nothing gives her the right to demean Imlie the way she has no matter what suspicions she has. And she has spent a lifetime guilt-tripping Adi.....she doesn't even know what love even is really.

Sorry but I have no patience for any justifications for Malini anymore. You are welcome to your opinion but I personally have no interest in all this now.

Oh yeah, for a change, the split screen was only Adi-Imlie instead of Didi also ghusaaoed in between😆....so that might be an indicator of what's to come.

Didi toh omnipresent rahengi hi but I do feel with Imlie out of the house, the focus will shift to Adi-Imlie ka tadap in some sense too.....Didi sadti rahein side pe meri balaa se😛

Last two weeks have been so disappointing that I do not have much hopes from the kind of reaction from Adi on Imlie's leaving the T house. Malini's stratagem has diluted so many scenes and reactions. Ofcourse he will react but didi will make sure she does the talking, reacting, expressing. She might even go to her house to get her back..(kitna negative thought, sigh).

Didi ki dono taraf se haar hi hai whether Imlie is in the house or out of it. Cuz Adi ka friend zone concern is all Didi is going to get regardless of her mind games and bechaari acts 😆.

That’s what I used to think too, any reaction she would have towards imlie and aditya will be justified and it was a phase I was really waiting for. But they completely messed up her character. I am not saying she’s a villain, she is grey yes. I don’t consider her a vamp but just a very very draining character. I used to take offence at people calling her a pampered princess but over the course of the episodes and a rewatch I realised that’s actually what she is. She lost me at that whole mandir ke saamne strong hone ki qasam khana because she didn’t want a marriage like her mom so she’ll act like her mom. Like what?? I didn’t need all of that, if they hadn’t tried to glorify the classist remarks and abuse she was about to put imlie through I still would have understood her more. But it was like my husband is not giving me attention so I am gonna go abuse this girl to get a reaction out of him. Fine ok. I get it. Next day it’s all over again you’re my choti behan and important to me. That’s when I was done. If you’re acting based on suspicions then why did those suspicions suddenly disappear? Because it was never about that, it was all about pulling adi’s focus towards her even if it meant torturing said choti behan. At that point, she only subconsciously thought aditya was paying attention to imlie and not her, and that’s what pissed her off so she went off on imlie instead of confronting aditya. When that didn’t work, she broke down and took this very huge step that could have ruined everyone else’s lives around her too. That does make her seem lowkey manipulative, and I say again I would have been okay with all of this these shades were something I was looking forward to but they are constantly glossing over it. It was executed so badly. She just seems an empty character. Like you said, this is a show that tries to be real, she is not the sautan that makes the grand plans but a very human character with flaws. These flaws though are very draining and dislikable.

There are not going to be grand plans in a story like this we’re gonna have to look at the actions of everyone and analyse their intentions from that. Even that whole pd breakdown what was the logic in it? Her and aditya hadn’t had any big fight, he was gone only 3 days and lied about where he was, just a couple days after he was beaten up badly by people. Why was her first reaction oh my god my marriage is over he could very well have been in danger? Look at it from the characters’ pov not the audience who knows the whole story. She made such a huge scene in front of everyone (his family who was worried for him too) and then stopped eating?? I am sorry I tried to understand her, I really did and maybe I see where her reactions come from but all she comes across as to me is an entitled woman who throws tantrums to get attention and breaks down when she doesn’t get it.

yeh baat bhi sahi hai! And now that makes me think, because right now didi abhi din ko raat kahe toh raat kahenge wali halat hai sabki...it probably is going to Babusahib who goes to get her..because she will not say No to didi..but babusahib ko toh naa sun ne ki adat hai..

But ismein bhi Didi ki haar hogi cuz she will have front row seat to Adi ki restlessness over Imlie being away from him😆....bahut tadpenge Babusahib and Didi ko sab bardaasht karna hoga ki unke liye nahin hai yeh tadap.....Imlie ke liye hai😛
