I dont think shagun was an out an out feminist. She wanted to study and applied for cambridge got admissions. She thought she ll tell shaurya and he ll accept but he didnt he called of the engagement instead so she didnt had a choice so she pursued her studies further.

I dont remember if shaurya gave her a choice to choose in between him and cambridge or even if he did may be she wasnt able to decide at the moment and shaurya took it as a yes.

Because as far as i remember she and her parents did approach them the very next day to rethink about their decision but shaurya was adamant that he wont backoff due to his ego.

Agar shaurya engagement nhi todta to she would have happily accepted being mrs shaurya sabherwal may be ...

She did accept his conditions right.

She just wanted to study and career se usne already sanyas le liya tha .

She did accept that regressive thought earlier as well.
