We have beta readers now. So if you want to have a third opinion on your story/particular chapter, you can submit that and the beta readers will read it and let you know about their opinion, may be even correct grammatical and other mistakes.

Featuring is for promotion mainly.

As you know, people keep updating their FFs, so their position keeps changing. Like the last person who updates, you'll see his/her story on the top.

The two stories that are selected by beta readers, will be on top for the whole month so that it gets the maximum visibility and more people can come to know about good pieces of writings. It doesn't matter if originally it has less likes. Beta readers select it based on the story, grammar and other things like critiques.

So you have to post your story in their designated form and they will read all the stories and decide which two would be up featured for the month.

Same here. Mujheinki pagalpanti samajh nahi aati. They said they'll open the schools and colleges on 23rd May but Varsities will remain closed. Matlab, baccho ka immunity humse zyada hain? Ya woh humse behatar distancing maintain karega? Idiot authority!

Yahan par abhi University to 15th tak band hai but schools kab reopen honge, koi idea nahi...

In fact, the authorities were actually holding offline classes around Holi in both schools and colleges when the cases were rising. Holi ke baad se offline classes band ki hain inhone...

Thanks for sharing, except for beta readers had understood it correctly. That's what I liked, content given importance. Kash aise kuch creations me hota, but it's cool.

Offline classes I can understand but what our authority is doing is plain idiocy. The private Universities are still taking online classes and their students are passing.

But our so called elite public universities won't do anything. Their biggest reasoning is, majority of the students come from different areas so the hostels must be opened for their accommodation. So they want to ensure everyone gets vaccinated and then they'll open. But that's pure absurdity. It'll take another few months.

And it's not like earlier they didn't false notices like classes will be held. A lot of students despite their financial problem came back and started staying as PGs and then again they shut it off. In fact my own claasmates - we literally had to sign on consent forms that take our exam, if someone falls ill it's on us and we won't blame you. They had to search for accommodation in a really short time and managed to sit for exam. But the authority doesn't see any of this. They are more interested in bootlicking Government.

Well, I was confused too. I thought if I submit for featuring and the beta readers tell me to do some corrections, it would be imperative for me to do that. So I was apprehensive at first. Because you know, sometimes a third party can't actually get why you have written a particular character in a specific way because obviously, they can't watch all the shows.

But then it turned out they don't force their opinion and simply judge and select two stories.

Beta readers, it's like I have written a draft on Nazar or MATSH and then asking for your opinion. You might find certain things over and there might be grammatical mistakes. So you'll point them out and once I correct them, I'll upload the revised, modified version.

I agree. Even creations should get such opportunities. Isn't it possible to talk with the mods there and suggesting them this?

Understandable.

Here too the Universities were doing similar things. Around Holi, a large number of faculty members tested positive for covid and a few even passed away. Chances are there that some students might also have been tested positive but the newspapers only had the news about the faculty members. So, that is why they stopped taking offline classes. Else the offline classes would have continued...

Regarding exams, there is still an uncertainty. The schools here did have the parents of the students sign a consent form but still, there is an uncertainty on 12th boards. They have no idea when the exams will be held. Same with the final semester students of UG and PG.

Another question regarding this featuring/beta readers opinion thing...
