So Aditiya 😔 finally remembered his 7-year bond with his best friend and realized how she is under a lot of stress and emotional trauma! He bought her a bunch of roses.

That would be ok if she was recovering in hospital after appendicitis or something. This was a suicide attempt 😲! A suicide attempt is no small thing. Her grandmother already pointed at Aditiya as the one responsible for Malini's sadness and suicide attempt. Aditiya barely reacted. He didn't look even guilty, even though he knows he is the biggest reason for her unhappiness.

Find her some real help, and stop leading her on with flowers. Call her bullshit on this former-lover story and tell her your truth!

The writers are failing to show Aditiya as adequately remorseful for this horrendous turn of events. He doesn't look gutted or sufficiently guilty. Imilie looks far more broken by Malini's suicide attempt. (As she should be). Aditya's mom looks far sadder and emotionally wrought by Malini's suicide attempt. She is desperately trying to fix things. She is taking on the guilt that Aditiya should be feeling.

But the writers are doing one thing well, they have stopped showing the closeness and bonding between Imlie and Aditiya. Please do not show any more of that, thank you! We should be grateful for small things.

What the writers are showing is that Adi has moved away very far from Malini and is very concerned about Imli. They are showing that Imlie is traumatized over Malini's suicide and that Adi is respecting Imli's trauma and giving her space even though he does not believe it is Imlie's fault (and it is not). Adi feels it is not his fault and the sequence of events that happened were out of his sphere of control and he did his best...also his personality is not like Imlie's who takes on the burden of the whole world.

Also if I was tied to someone who attempted suicide for reasons they were not even aware of - I would be terrified of the person. A lot of credit to Adi for even bringing himself to speak to her.

He was originally ruthless with Imlie now he is showing his indifference to Malini. Makers are keeping his characterization intact :)

Peonies - also if Malini's actions to date were consistent with her mahaan portrayal, believe me - I would have been the first to ask Adi to give her respect. But the viewers have been shown a two faced person - kind lovely on the surface and suspicious, insecure, manipulative, uncaring, elitist on the inside and single threaded wrt Adi. Even though I understand what happened to her is very unfortunate...I cannot bring myself to sympathize with her. If she returns home now to C house - some lost respect will be redeemed for me - but she will not - she will go to T house. What for? To uncover Adi's story? Does it even matter when you have realized your husband does not love you or give a damn?

So who is more fake - Adi or Malini...pls!

PS: I agree with you - Adi bringing her red roses was the worst mistake the makers made this week.

Their bonding is fine. I don't care to see their romance. I should have said romance not bonding.

I still believe the bouquet of flowers was fake concern. Aditiya has signed off as Malini's husband.

But as her friend and for being in a relationship with her for 7 years should count for something! He is not showing any kind of emotion much, other than a few tears. Not much sadness at the plight of his depressed friend, who may be all the things you say she is, but she was still his companion of 7 years! People cry more over their pets in distress!

No one slits their wrists for fun! 😕 The suicide attempt was not a light matter. Malini's mom, Aditiya's mom and Imilie seem more affected than Aditiya. (as they should be)

Right now, he coming across as cold and heartless. First, for not owning up to his part in the suicide attempt (yeah, he is to blame as much as Malini), and secondly for being so detached and emotionless. And for believing her obviously untrue story about some other man. ( Aditiya is not much of a reporter when he can't recognize a false story).

I want to see Aditiya and Imlie openly and honestly discuss their part in Malini's attempts to end her life. For too long they have indulged in their relationship, not caring how their growing relationship was hurting the third person, who is so intimately involved in their lives.

Right now, only Imlie's youth allows me to excuse her from blame. She is, after all, very young.

But Aditiya! 🤢

Seriously you think someone else played part in Malini’s suicide. You know something committing suicide requires lot of courage. She could have shown that courage in facing the hurdles of life. I agree suicide is very sad, but in here I only felt that she wanted to blame Adi for betraying her love for him, felt more like revenge.

If a second or third person is responsible for someone’s suicide, Imlie should have made 100 attempts by now blaming her dad, her husband and even Malini.

What more concern Adi can show? He ran like crazy when she needed blood, he couldn’t face her out of guilt. To understand Malini’s story he is already clouded with oodles of guilt and remorse. And truly he doesn’t know malini to be capable to make fake stories while crying and confessing her reasons for suicide. Anyone would believe that...

Of course, three people are responsible for Malini's suicide attempt! How can you not see that? 😔 Malini would have never got to this point if Aditiya and Imilie's relationship has not pushed her there!

Does society have a right to pass judgement on a victim's actions? Should we blame the victim?

A suicide attempt is not a crime, it is a cry for help. Can you really walk up to a suicide survivor and say "you had courage to attempt suicide, why didn't you use that courage to make an appointment with a therapist or marriage counsellor? Now get a grip and shake yourself out of this!"

Aditiya is a piss poor excuse for a husband or even a friend. He is completely detached from Malini and her obvious cry for help. She must have felt like she was being sucked into a vortex when she finally realised that Aditiya had betrayed her for Imlie. (She is not privy to any of the gun-point wedding nonsense).

Aditiya keeps reaching for the bottom and finding yet another layer of despicable!

They did not indulge their relationship as you put it. Since they had put a purdah on it for MAlini's sake and thought it was going nowhere - they were quiet. Once Adi realized his feelings for Imlie - he has been on a mission to tell Malini the truth - however has not got the perfect chance to tell her. Honestly I don't get his reticence at all. But MAlini has been acting weirdly as well will all Imlie aggression and let Adi go scot free approach. Let's see what progresses. Adi really needs to tell the truth and it needs to be brought out that regardless of Imlie - these 2 characters would never had made it. They can't even communicate properly - how on earth they survived 7 years is beyond me.

Aditiya's and Imlie's connection is not something light or ordinary. They seem to connect at an etheral or spiritual level. It is kind of a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love affair. (While I recognize their connection, I don't enjoy it at all).

They don't have to shout from the rooftops of their love - it has become very obvious to people the closest to them - Malini, and Aditiya's US -returned cousin (can't remember his name).

Aditiya and Malini don't share that kind of connection, that is true. However, their relationship was actually very ordinary and normal. Like most of the couples in this world. Not earth-shattering, perfectly ordinary.

Their marriage could have had a chance if they had only moved into the apartment that Anu was getting for them. (But that would be like watching our own lives on TV every night.)

BUT this is a serial on Indian Television and they will not reveal the truth for months and months, making the character of Aditiya look utterly unfeeling and despicable in the process! They can't save him.
