This might also be a strong possibility. From what I gathered, they changed Shiva in this version. He seems a lot more confident despite being emotional. I think him breaking down due to a family issue would be pretty normal. Almost all characters have such scenes and it’s human nature. There are many ways the writers can take this, one being skipping the breakdown entirely because Shiva is written very differently here.

Yeah, or changing Raavi to suit Shiva better!! There is a lot of scope for ShiVi and why does he have to feel inferior.

2ndly, they chose an extremely sexy and buff actor, Kanwar, for the role of Shiva.

I'm not trying to be rude but Shiva in other versions weren't this good looking or confident. Correct me if my thinking is going somewhere else.

Another thing, why would Mami's words bother Shiva now. Mama sided with him, everyone who matters did. He doesn't care for Mami and never would as he clearly stated he wasn't going to forgive her live everyone else.

I could be grasping at straws here!!

For those who have seen the other versions, I’m curious as to what this breakdown scenes shows. In almost all ITV shows, we get a scene where a character breaks down at a hospital or feels helpless. Or is betrayed by a loved one and has an angry breakdown on the street at night.

But this scene seems to be a pivotal turning point in the other versions. If Shiva wasn’t such a tough guy (at least on the outside), I would expect something like the scene in Swaragini (brief mention of another show... I know it’s usually not allowed). There Swara tells Sanskaar that his anger could kill someone and despite him standing up for her, gets angry at him. That becomes a breaking point leading to him getting drunk, confessing everything hidden inside including his love for her. But the two characters are extremely different so I can’t see Shiva in this scene either.

On the flip side, Shiva is pretty unpredictable. The writers have a lot of options, I guess it’s a matter of what they choose.

The epi was really nice ...

Shiva proud of his wife Not just cooking her first rasoi but serving everyone with love , and he loved it too.

Krish..." haan jhoota nai kha sakta par muh se muh lagake kha sakta hai"🤣 Ooohmygod🤣 This was the second time dev choked 🤣 yesterday and today. Krish ki timing awesome hai.

Raavi was ultra sweet. First time she was In yadon ki baarat moment ❤ even kancha scene was hilarious..she was smiling.. "smiling" thinking of what Shiva might say ..n he came n said just that 😆

Gombi and dev scene..I dunno why everyone has to mollycoddle dev. He is a grown up , learn to deal with whatever choices he has made. The family must take 2 steps back. Is it so tough to understand rishita ko jungle mein mangal karna hai "akele" and she won't settle without getting it 🤣

I didn't quite get what dhara was thinking in the last scene but it must be good. It's best to leave both of them to deal with each other , in a way they think good.

I don’t want any breakdown of Shiva, rather want him to be comfortable in his shoes and not really bothered by what Mami/anyone thinks and is secure in himself..I mean he knows why he left his studies/why he didn’t want to, I don’t want him to be apologetic about it...i like this care for not shiva than an insecure one. Let Raavi accept him as he is than showing some breakdown and her sympathising with it..

That is a great idea. Honestly, I don't have way with words and am not a good writer. But in times like these, I wish I was creative enough to write wonderful dialogues as you guys with the right amount of punch.

Like you mentioned, this scene will require a proper buildup, and I just don't know how exactly it would be. However, if any of the wonderful writers are reading this, I would also love to read an OS on this.

Aww I’m sure that’s not the case! If you do decide to write something, def post it! I would love to read it 😊 But yes, I hope someone does write an OS on this! It’ll be so amazing to read!!

I don't know what it would be. But if Mami mentions something, it may not be her usual taunts. She may say something different that coerces reaction out of Raavi and gets under his skin. While Shiva's had upper hand post leap, there were times in preleap where really Mami managed to get under his skin.
