As pallavi is proven to be sleeping for money and she's a "fallen woman" now, of course she needs a man to save her face. Amma doing probably for the "greater good", trying undo the damage her son created and saving "izzat' - it's funny like where is the izzat when you marry a guy who have accuses you to be basically being a ....you know what. 😵 isn't it proving they probably did have a relationship hence marrying now.

Also, raghav ka consent means zilch the moment he went to D house and created shitstorm. As you sow so shall you reap.

@bold, I have always wondered if this track is because writers feel showing romance outside the context of marriage would be scandalous. Ages ago, people married young and social conditioning said “good people don’t have gf/bfs, etc;” so television knew they’d survive if they followed those norms. Although, society is changing and I think mainstream serials could and should incorporate romance outside the umbrella of marriage. TRPs won’t get such a hit 😒

you know, I absolutely liked the way Amman’s entry is in Raghav’s house today. She settled herself well on the sofa making him happy that she is actually sitting in his sofa, buttered him for biscuits along with tea and made comments and adjustments about the house baffling him. I was rolfing seeing his expressions. Amma is clever. She is like those shrewd mums who give their kid his most wanted wish and then make them agree on her harshest one 😆

She said agar tu Raghav hai to mein Raghav ka Amma hai. She knows exactly how to handle Ragav

Gazab jodi haina. Ghoda aur Gadhe ke dikhne ke features thode bahut same hi hote hai. Inner behavior to alag hi hai. Raghav Ghode ki jaise dodta rehta hai. Pallavi Gadhe ke jaisa samaj ka boj, pariwaar ka boj uthati rehti hai 🤣

This is giving me clash of fire vibes

Your viewpoint is right. Amma saw the spark correct...

But in real life, we dont know all the sides of the story and will we agree to such type of a marriage? No. A marriage where initial phases are filled with revenges and anger. Which girl will want to spoil her life

Also let's not forget that these shows are businesses and a lot of money is invested, obviously the first goal will be to generate profits and second goal is to give a good story.

In the context of the show, I kind of see why they aren't considering dating angle but direct Shaadi. Pallavi is considered to be married and committed to Mandar, even if he is dead. She is not Single in the eyes of society and D fam (except Aai). Consequently, if she isn't single then how can she date, or even move on freely. VD and Sharda are considered to be progressive just because they don't tie Pallavi in shackles of widowhood. But I would say that VD was just being 'not regressive' rather than progressive. If she was truly the daughter and single (not married to Mandar), they would not mind her relationship. About aai, this can be said after some more episodes only.

Exactly, the society doesn't sees Pallavi the same way. VD is behaving like a total creep when it comes to her relationship, if it was her real daughter would she have behaved in such a way. Sharda is eager to marry as she worries about Pallavi's desires

of course in real life..if anyone does that to me.or anyone else..i will react the same way as pallu did. and i would be dialing 999..so real life.. completely against forced marriage as it is so bitter and painful to go through. in this serial i think why i am not so against is that I know that raghav is very good at heart and was attracted towards pallavi and not just him, pallavi too was concerned and caring about him.. so they have physical and emotional connect . it is also obvious that there are misunderstandings and once they are out of the way they will love each other.

i was actually reflecting and thinking that forced marriage in imlie is annoying me so much but here i am ecstatic...i felt bit bad about having double standards..but then i realised i hate bigamy and lying and hiding things from a partner. here raghav is honest about everything and so is pallu... prob that's why i am not so pissed off..

but yes you have genuine concerns and if it weren't for my babies raghvi i wud have ...morcha nikaal leti🤣dil ke haathon majboor ho gayi sorri...
