Is that seriously going to be the reason that she will ask Raghav to marry Pallavi? 😕 Bas mere bete ka muh chup karati hai, uske saamne firm ho ladti hai, to Raghvi ki Shaadi karva do. Pallavi saying badi badi baatein karti hai, par Sulu ke saamne fuski. When will she learn to shut Sulu's mouth.

Jaya is selfish as she is getting something. But she has come to Raghav's house because she wants something on her condition of staying with him. Raghav itna khush ho gaya. I am saying she is selfish because she didn't ask Raghav whether he wants to marry Pallavi nor did she ask Pallavi. The moment she said "Tere ko Pallavi se Shaadi banana padega". And Raghav will obviously misunderstand Pallavi

Raghav told "Mein usko Faasi chadhayega"😕 And the way Jaya laughed was so scary. Amma is ready to spoil two lives for now. And how tactfully she blackmailed Raghav...Clearly forcing him to marry...Chalo she can force Raghav but what about Pallavi? she will say to Pallavi "Agar Raghav se nahi karega to Mere ghar nikal dungi tujhe?"🤓

Desi tv always make everything about marriage- guy got a great job? Shadi. Girl got wings and wants to fo something with her life? Shadi. Molester making life hell? Shadi. Dad got heart attack? Shadi. Hence here too it's all about shaadi. No matter how much years have passed but tv writers couldn't come up with any other way to make leads interact with each other apart from shadi. As pallavi is proven to be sleeping for money and she's a "fallen woman" now, of course she needs a man to save her face. Amma doing probably for the "greater good", trying undo the damage her son created and saving "izzat' - it's funny like where is the izzat when you marry a guy who have accuses you to be basically being a ....you know what. 😵 isn't it proving they probably did have a relationship hence marrying now.

Also, raghav ka consent means zilch the moment he went to D house and created shitstorm. As you sow so shall you reap.

Raghav and Pallavi are both obsessed with each other. It is obvious to everyone who knows them. Both have a loving heart and can go to extremes for their families. That’s a strong commonality, a foundation on which two people can build a life.

RaghVi can be themselves with each other in a world that misunderstands them constantly. That itself is a big freedom for someone like Pallavi, who yearns for a family and clings to the crazy Deshmukhs, despite their misbehaviour. Jaya is confident that she can give that life to Pallavi because with her and Keerti in the house, RR will have no choice but to behave.

She also sees that Pallavi is the only woman besides Amma and Keerti, who stares RR in the eyes and gives it back to him. Jaya may be manipulating Raghav to marry her, but she sees both the lost boy in him and a quiet strength in Pallavi that acts as the perfect foil to her volatile son. She also knows Pallavi will have the kind of love and respect she craves in RR’s home.

So selfish or not, she probably feels it’s best for both of them to get married to each other.

Pallu will know Raghu pain and craving to be with his mom and sister from childhood because Raghu has created such vacuum between her and baba .

Only then pallu will realize the depth of the pain Raghu might have faced .

Same with Raghu he will see what pallu really is

He will see the real pallu and stop judging her henceforth

he was all alone all these years so he became stubborn but pallu will teach him many things like love , giving and peace

Both will learn something from each other

Until then they fight but eventually they will blend well in wedlock

If Itv wants marriage then that will happen at any cost with or without logic.

I don't think Amma is being selfish here. She saw how Pallavi stood up against him, she saw how Pallavi handled her son, she saw how Pallavi made him speechless so from a mother's point, amma saw a potential wife for her spoiled brat of a son. (I'm not saying that wives should make their husbands speechless but here Raghav needs a wife who can be equal to him, and someone who can put up with him and who is the best choice than Pallavi?)

I have always wondered about, if Amma had tried before with love and affection then Raghav would have changed his ways but she was hell behind on blaming him. (I don't know if she has done this before.)

And as she has seen small changes in him after he met Pallavi, she thought that, she could use that in her way. (She already knew that Aai wants to marry Pallavi off.)

And today, in that hallucination scene Raghav says that, if he marries Pallavi then she will kill this Raghav Rao and Amma wants that (MistyDawn told me this). Even he knows in his subconscious mind that only Pallavi is capable of changing him to the old Raghav and I feel he is afraid to go back to his past.

And Pallavi's life was destroyed by Raghav, then who should make it? Obviously Raghav. He has to pay for what he has done.

I think amma being intelligent here, connecting these two. I do feel that they both need others for their own redemption.

I too want Pallavi to be in Raghav house but not like this. Jaya saw a spark in Raghvi but this was not the right way. Give Raghvi some time

She didn't want to get them married for her but for him and for Pallavi too. How can a mother be selfish when she wants to change her son for good. That's why I said I didn't think she was being selfish. 😊
