Why all top 3 indian tv shows are just a a copy of popular bengali tv shows?

now if we are talking about hindi shows and original concepts then they are many classics like sarabhai vs sarabhai kichdi sasural genda phool baa bahu aur baby taarak mehta hatim shararat shaka laka boom boom etc even recently ye jadu hai jin ka at its peak and also kya haal mr panchaal had a great concept its not that hindi shows lack creativity its just that those shows are sadly not so popular anymore

I think u mean Hindi shows, even tho ITV is normally the term used for that while Regional is used for State-language shows.

Indian TV is been crappy for years now, its made a lot of people switch to OTT or watch older classics online.

I feel like the actress overacts majorly...this needs someone more subtle and nuanced

I think so in place of the word 'copy', it should be remake . Those series are remade in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and other languages.

I don't see that as a problem honestly, because these production houses, channels and all have taken permission from them or they bought the rights for its remake.

Remaking series and all happens so much anyways, problem occurs when they copy without taking permission or doesn't give proper credits.

They usually copy tracks from each other. Like one show finishes with a alive person acting as a ghost to get a person to confess the crime, six days later, another show has the the same thing. For a change they are copying someone else😬

Star networks are remaking each others shows.the shows get remade in many languages not just Hindi.
