No, I don’t think so. Seeing the makers so he’ll bent on resolving vanraj and Anupamas differences and not letting them divorce, I don’t think so. In sreemoye(Bengali version), the intent of Anuj was to make everyone realise Anupamas worth, but here everyone is realising that themselves some way or another.

I don’t think so trp would fall. People would prefer Anupama to divorce vanraj and be independent. Anuj would be like friend. So that will increase trp. And people seeing vanraj suffering for his deeds for his affair would be much more likeable scenario than both both of them getting reunited. Anupama makers are going kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi types track where it used to take years for such thing to happen and then there was no purpose.

Its too early to bring a pair for Anupama . First she was afraid of both Baa and Vanraj. All humiliations she was tolerating because, she was liking him and truly felt that he is burdened with office work. Next she found out his cheat, though , broken first, she could manage . She could come out of the nest and speak against him and Baa. Then she realised she should go away so offered divorce. Though she nursed him during his accident, she ignored his moves towards her. She got the clarity in life that children and elders are important and Vanraj is not anymore in her life. With his running away she got angry and shouted at him like how he used to do. The transformation is slow and steady. In the process she also put her foot down when Pakki and Toshu suported father and put them in their place. This is so far....

Next a major event should happen where she not only gets anger but also dostaste and aversion .She should hate him and parmanently erace his memories. Not only with him but something should happen that she should get out of her bonding with children and elders also. However, It is not necessasirily negative but children settling down nicely like Samar getting a job in a different place, Pakki got admission in a professional course and moving out and thoshu/ Kinjal shifting to another country etc.

At thism stage only she probably would long for a companionship ant that would be the right time for the entry of ANUJ.

In real life , when they share custody modern day parents try to have a civil relationship with their ex partner. So that legally and socially they show the other that they have moved on.

Some of them even stay friends as they share common friends and children.

I agree, why does she need to cut off ties with her children or for that matter even Baa Bapuji? She can have a relation with Anuj while continuing her ties with them. And yes it is already shown that Anupamaa and Vanraj will try to have a cordial relation and that's fine.

It is very difficult for a person like Anupama, who is traditional, completely family oriented to think anything for herself. While Kavya type of modern girl can easily convey and carry on with break up with her X, it is not so for Anupama. Even if physically she is away, mentally and emotionally they will always be thinking of others. She was even good with Kavya. Unless something extraordinary happens such persons will not easily accept a new person in life.
