Samar meets Nandini and they share their woes and happiness like close friends n lovers . Samar is worried about his mother , Nandini assures she was OK . soon Dr Advait Khanna receives the reports of Anupama and he gets worried , he informs Vanraj that Anu had ovarian tumours , he states everyone living person had to leave this earth sooner or later . Anupamaa’s first call for her departure had arrived . Vanraj is stunned on hearing that .
Unknown to them Samar over hears this n he gets horrified n runs screaming for his mother. Vanraj goes after him n with great difficulty calms him n consoles him.
Father n son share their remorse n guilt for ill treating Anupama for never bothering about her , taking her for granted , always troubling her .
