What Raavi-Shiva-Dev-Krish share is exceptional because they have grown up together. The way she talks or behaves with them is so real. Even after reaching the age of maturity and till date, we often tend to speak with no inhibitions with our cousins or distant relatives like that which can include giving galis too. Their comfort and camaraderie is different which is evident in the way they talk to each other.
That’s the bond you share with family members.
These kids have fought together and grew up together. I don’t see anything wrong in Raavi’s behaviour. She is the same. Disappointed by Shiva not being beaten up.
That’s why I said, it’s unfair to expect her to see Shiva as a husband and start that sensitivity. Trust me, even if love happens, they will continually bicker and call each other names. Will that mean that they are humiliating each other? No, it’s their natural relationship. Simple.
Tomorrow Krish may get married but everyone gives a Tapli to him! Will that mean Krish isn’t loved or respected. No right?
Shiva’s hurt is deeper:
A. Because his brain has registered the marriage and subconsciously finds himself not adequate enough. Imagine his condition, he practically married a girl who dreams about another man that too his brother. Enough to bruise anyone for life.
B. He still is not over the sudden change of events.
So, for Raavi, she is under a strange adrenaline high. It happens with people with PTSD. They try to latch on to an emotion that gives them a firmament of belief, strength and entitlement. For her, it’s become Shiva, her latching onto him as well as lashing at him. Both have humongous issues to resolve. I wish these Mummy Papa mode of Gaumbi and Dhara ends a bit. They aren’t helping but they are suppressing a problematic situation.
Tid-Bits-On a side note, I loved how Raavi genuinely said Sorry to Rishita when she chided her for singing the wrong song 🤪That’s how pure Raavi is.
I bet the moment she realises the angst of Shiva, she will be the best one to take him 😆
