I may be wrong, but this seems like Pallavi was reiterating what Raghav told about her, where he stopped short of calling her a "w***re", and he just puts his hand on her mouth, in a way to never call herself that. But that's just my mind doing wishful thinking.😆

I guess his guilt will increase and he can't hear those things out loud, not from her polite mouth anyway.
