Him being in the hotel room and shoving off Shaurya while Anokhi let's it happen is something I can't fathom. If Shaurya had let the same happen with Anokhi -- trusted Shagun and let her shove off Anokhi from Shaurya's hotel room will we be fine with it? Who exactly is this ACP to speak on Anokhi's behalf to the man she claims to love? I wish Ahir was shown as a childhood friend or someone. Has anyone seen Kiralik Ask - a Turkish drama? The FL has a childhood male friend from her neighbourhood who shoves off the ML for hurting his friend. The depth of their friendship is shown so beautifully that you will long for such a friend in your life. This weak ACP-Anokhi relationship is not justifying Ahir shoving off Shaurya and getting to stay on her side lending her a crying shoulder.

I don't think Ahir being considered as friend for Babli and Anokhi would a bigger issue than the fact that they have previously shown him openly admitting he likes Anokhi!

Anokhi has considered him as a friend since long time... She clearly told Vineet.. Mere dost ACP Ahir aapko sahi jagah dikhayenge... So their friendship actually goes back for quite long even though they had just met... Probably Ahir was first man (after Shaan?) she had seen being nice to her and dealing with domestic violence which she had always witnessed ... I personally don't find anything wrong there...

But I wish makers had seriously limited their relationship as friendship. They didn't have to show him as being interested in Anokhi and validating Shaurya's conception... They could have left it as Shaurya's misconception of their relationship. And hence, Ahir seems more irritating and unreasonable... There were, in ITV past, where male and female shared beautiful relationships as friends take DJs own show - Jassi and Nandu from Jassi Jassi Koi Nahin... They were childhood friends but easily anyone could have mistaken them as a couple from ITV standards... Also they have left some scope for Ahir's character to be childhood connotation by giving a scene where he went to Kapurthala... When he dropped Astha, he told her that he has some work in Kapurthala... And he would come back for chai later on in the day... So, he actually did plan to complete some work... Maybe they can show some past later on...

Ab toh I feel makers are also cashing on fans theory of ShauHir

The episode was beautiful with the right mixture of angels and devils. Normally, in an ITV MU, most of the time, my sympathy lies with the FL. Often she is the one who is most hurt. But with this MU track, poor Shaurya Sabarwal got all my sympathies. Anokhi's heart is broken, but she has everyone around her to protect her and support her. She has a Babli di to hug her, mummy ji to sing a lullaby to her, Aasta to guide her, Shaan as a father figure to look up to, Reema as a loving friend, Ahir as a friend. Though she is hurt, she has her own pillows around her that will make her fall softer. the love around her will make her continue even after a heartbreak. It's difficult but she will survive.

But poor Shaurya. Ultimately he is a loner, who fell hard for Anokhi. Before Anokhi happened, he kept his wounds hidden and always put out a brave face to the outside world. Only his Badi ma got a peek into his heart occasionally. Now with the heartbreak, literally no one around him will understand the pain. He has no deep connection with his dad, Badi Ma turned out to be the villain of his love story, Kanchan may understand but she is constrained in many ways. Whom will he go to? Damn, he does not have anyone else to talk to or share his pain. He has to take all the pain in and suffer.

How can a mighty Shaurya Sabarwal with all the arrogance of Sabarwal men can fall this hard for a woman in such a short time? There is only one reason, he was so alone inside that when he found Anokhi, he gave his unbridled love to her. I am not sure, Anokhi understands the depth and desperation of that love. Her love is pure and has the charm of a fragile first love. It's like a silver stream ensconced in a forest and his love is liking a stormy ocean.

I am sure when a lone tear fell from Anokhi's eyes, Shaurya's heart might have broken into a million pieces. He could not protect his fledging love and that would have been difficult for his ego, at the same time he can not react to his Badi Ma. This episode belongs to Shaurya...I really feel bad for him. KV is as usual superb. Deb is an expert in blushing. Loved this whole episode

You have beautifully described Shaurya's state of mind. Even I felt very bad for Shaurya. Yes Anokhi does not understand the depth of Shaurya's love. But I atleast expect her to trust him and believe his innocence in this engagement fiasco. Hopefully Shaan gives some support to Shaurya.

Yes, having shown that he has a romantic interest in Anokhi and waiting to "utakar le jaaoonga" ---- the friendship angle doesn't make sense. But for me even otherwise it doesn't work that Anokhi and he met just twice before acting like besties!

An acquaintance you start to think of as a friend - Yes! A best friend you can count on and trust with your eyes closed - No!

I personally believe that you may even like someone in a romantic way very quickly but to build a strong, deep, trustworthy friendship it takes years!

So this quick 2 minute Maggi type of friendship thing really doesn't convince me as reason enough for Anokhi to take Ahir's help to go back to Kapurthala or Babli to go to Goa and now all of them holidaying in Goa in that hotel because like they made Anokhi say -- We are all here anyway so let's all have fun together! What even! I only go on such holidays with my close friends or work mates apart from family of course. But hey I am also the kind of person who has had a BFF gang of seven of us completing 22 years this August! So when it comes to friendship and trust I'm probably too old school.

You do have a valid point here! Thank you for sharing that perspective too...

Undoubtedly, I am one of those persons too who categorizes people as aquintance, Classmate, colleague over calling everyone as my friends... That's in real life situation for me...

But when it comes to the way things have been in the show... Everything has been rushed or brushed under the carpet... Be it Anokhi's falling deeply for Shaurya or Shagun's obsession and reason of ShaSha break up... I am not surprised that these two have apparently become 'friends' so quickly... Its harder from story perspective specially when Anokhi clearly struggled to mingle in earlier episodes... I remember seeing a bus sequence where everyone was enjoying but Anokhi was engrossed and focused on her work and studies... But I guess, it's just another sloppy writing on makers part.

As much as it would have made more sense to show Ahir as childhood friend, I guess makers are hell bent on making them friends on longer term too.. Like in OG even Shaurya will be mingling well with Ahir... As I mentioned... There is still a scope for makers to show Ahir having some past connection due to Kapurthala track... Where he did excuse himself for personal work... But let's see if makers consider it...

Exactly my point...take time to show how relationships form otherwise just show them as having been there already from before when the story started...like the best friend in Kiralik Ask...in that show I liked the best friend so much and although so many things in that show including the whole premise of the show was not something I liked I just couldn't help myself from admiring the best friend part!!!
