Kapoor House:
KKusum is leaving the diwali party… Ayee comes there and hugs her… They both cry… Ayee says that she knew this would happen but she did not stop her since she wanted her to see for herself that as time passes, people and relationships change… Ayee says that these people did your sharad and got the punishment for it and they will also get punished for whatever they did to you today… She says that today they have closed the doors for the laskmi who came to their house; now the bad days are not far for this family… Ayee asks her to come with her… KKusum says where will she go, she has lost her family and her house… Ayee says that she knows Kkusum feels really lonely right now but this is the bitter truth of life… She asks her not to worry as she is with her… Ayee says that she has to start over her life but not with these tears… Kkusum says that when everything has ended, what will she start now… Ayee says let bygone be bygones… Nitin comes from the back and gives her blessings… Kkusum asks him if he knows she didn't do anything… Nitin asks her not to question him, he knows everything… He says that he trusts Kkusum a lot and his ashirwad is always with her… He gives her some money and says that this is 'diwali ka shagun'… Nitin says that he does not have enough strength to support her in her fight but he would just like to say that after every defeat there is a win, after darkness there is always brightness, and Kkusum will get brightness very soon… he says that he wants to see Kkusum fighting and not to run from it… He blesses her and leaves…
Chawl:
Kkusum and Ayee come to the chavl… Diwali celebrations are going on… Ayee says that this is the place where she started her life… She asks her to come as a new life is waiting for her… Kkusum gets flashback: KKusum as a kid playing with firecrackers, Ayee calling out for her… Kkusum thinks that Ayee is right, her new life is waiting for her… She lights up a diya…
Kkusum goes inside and sees her brother there… She is surprised and hugs him… She asks him where he was… He says that it's all fate/destiny, when she was here he went away and when he came back, she wasn't here… Kkusum asks where Priyanka and Sameera are? Ayee looks sad… Bhaiya says that he has also lost everything like her… Then, a girl shows up… Ayee asks her to see who it is… It is sameera… Kkusum hugs her… Another girl shows up and asks her if she can tell who she is… Bhaiya helps her and says it is his younger daughter Shadda… Hugging time again… They go and do the aarti… Kkusum takes blessings from Ayee… Shadda asks Kkusum to come with her outside… Bhaiya says that he tried his best to raise his daughters after Priyanka passed away but no one can take a mother's place… Kkusum says that now that she is there, she will take their responsibility…
They are all enjoying outside… Shadda asks her to come see what she made for her… It's a banner which says 'welcome back Kkusum Bua'… Kkusum looks sad… Bhaiya asks her if she is thinking about Kumud… He says that Kumud is very unlucky not to be with her on this auspicious day… He says that he know she will regret one day and kkusum will forgive her…
Later, Kkusum, bhaiya and Sammera are siting in the living room… Sammera says that she has to go to a party at her friends place… Bhaiya says that its diwali and bua is home so she should stay back tonight… Sameera does not listen, says bye and leaves… Bhaiya says that at such times he realizes the need for a mother… Ayee comes and tells them that dinner is ready…
Kapoor House:
Kumud is on the phone… She is getting mad at Mr Mehta for not putting all the quotations in the bill… Mahi comes there… Mr Mehta says that he wasn't at work the other day as he was with his mom who came from the village for diwali… Kumud says that from today he should just stay with his mom and there is no need for him to come to work… They guy says that he's sorry but Kumud says that she is sorry but she cannot tolerate a loss just because of his mom… She says that you are fired and I mean it… Mahi says that this is not right, beta… Kissi aur ka ghusa khahin aur nahin nikalna chaiyee… Mahi says that she knows what she is going through… She says that they were trying to get out of the shock but she came back… Kumud says that Kkusum will have to pay for papa's death… She says that she had no purpose in life but now she does…
Chawl:
Kkusum is sad… She tells Ayee that when she was in Malaysia, she used to think that she will fulfill any thing that is lacking in Kumud's life… She says that she used to think that after Abhay, she will take care of the whole family, she will reunite her broken family… But when she came here she got shattered herself… Ayee consoles her and says that she should go on with her life and trust God…
Next morning, Kkusum asks bhaiya what he is doing these days… He says that after winding up their work, he and his boss has open a small consultation agency… He says it's a small business but at least he doesn't have to say 'yes boss' to anybody anymore… Kkusum says that it's good and you never know, you can get a big reward one day… At the same time, police comes there… They say that they have an arrest warrant for Kkusum Deshmukh… Kkusum and Bhaiya are shocked… The police says that Kumud Kapoor has filed a complaint against her for being responsible for her father's death… They are all shocked… Ayee says that Kkusum was not there at the time, she was in Malaysia… The police guy says that the court will decide all this… he says that this is not the only complaint that Kumud has lodged against her… Ayee says that kkusum is innocent… Kkusum asks ayee to let them do their work… Kkusum goes with them… Ayee comes to bhaiya and says that Kumud is crossing all her limits… She says that she has forgotten that she is the one who raised her and she will teach her a lesson…
Kumud's Office:
Ayee goes to Kumud's office… The receptionist calls Kumud and tells her that her nani wants to meet her immediately… Then, the receptionist tells Ayee that Kumud has asked her to wait, she'll meet her after her meeting… Ayee is shocked… She marches into the meeting room… The peon tells Kumud that he tried to stop her but she didn't stop… Nitin is also present there… Ayee comes to Kumud and gives her a tight slap (a very well deserved slap)…
