Yep he understood how much they are in love. I felt bad seeing his disappointing smile while Leaving the store. He is backing off for her.

Once the announcement happens he would give her support and then will try to keep her away from shurya with pretext that he is trying to save her getting more hurt as shaurya has done whatever he could. He has given her shocked surprise so it’s better if he leaves Anokhi alone.

Thats what i think too .He will try to take advantage of situation .But good for story we have seen how Shaurya reacts when he is around.

When he would get feeling of loosing Anokhi to Ahir.He would do anything to get her back ...
