My sister is 28 - no discussion of marriage yet. I'm 23 and still studying and I'm the youngest from my dad's side. I think marriage culture depends on community and region a lot.
@bold agree with you 100%. Love is too insufficient a reason for a woman to be taking such a big risk. Before getting married, every woman should have a safety net that she can fall back on should things turn ugly... And maayke wale are not a very reliable safety net.
Very region to region. my parents and I also live in the US so the societal pressure is not in our faces. My sis is also 30+ and even though my parents worry, they’re never going to push her into marriage!
It’s so funny but Bengalis and Malayalees have a weird connect culturally.,..even though we have such distance geographically.
