I think she acts real mature and he acts real immature, so they really just meet in the mental age of 25!

Can you believe I find the PG SS-AB scenes hotter than the Bridgerton make out/s*x scenes.. 🤣

I just finished watching Bridgerton. I started watching it on tv in the living room( despite having read the whole Quinn's series) but then was obliged to shift to my tablet with headset. Mom and dad will rip me apart if they know what stuff i'm watching. 😅

Same. I read the books a decade ago. And just reread them.

I too find ShaKhi scenes with underlying tension a lot hotter than Saphne scenes(except that hand touching scenes was electric too).

Experience difference ab bhi hai unke beech. He already guides her better in practical issues. And she guides him better with emotional issues. He literally explains her alot of things. For eg, Anokhi was being studpid fighting with a random girl wasting her energy telling her how she was ragged and molested. And the girl was just laughing. Shauyra came there and told her to not waste energy on such ppl , and save it to prove a point in front of the committee. The aay he handled Anmol and made him confess. The way he handles the situations are commendable many times. The way he proved Anokhi innocent infront of college authorities. There are many such points where Shauyra's advice to Anokhi was on point. Even during riots, him explaining her to leave was correct. We see him being so much mature compared to her.

But he's a complete mess when it comes to dealing with his emotions and that's where Anokhi gives him stability and perspective.

The fact that Shauyra explained Anokhi what a date is , highlights their age difference. But that's their magic. He does have more knowledge of the world and that's his usp. He will keep guiding her. Even his advices are spot on

With this storyline, I'd be a very hesitant Reema!! Really happy for my friend, but really scared about the repercussions. Also 20 is too young to get married in my eyes....especially with a 30 year old.

In real life, a college student with nothing to her name getting married to a way older and established man is never received by the society properly. One of my classmate's younger sister - a 19 year old got married to a cop who was 31 years old. And it was a love marriage. All of us were like whaaaaattttttt????? And the best/worst part??? Her own elder sister, my classmate was deeply ashamed of it. For months she lied to us that all the shopping that she did was for her elder cousin, dur ki rishtedar's marriage. We found out the truth through social media lmao. Somebody came across the younger sis's insta account and saw all the wedding pictures.

Looking back now, I feel that so much speculation wouldn't have happened if she hadn't gone to such lengths to keep her sister's wedding hidden from everyone.... Like she made it very obvious that she didn't want to associate with her and the BIL at all.

So I know, such marriages always raise eyebrows.

There's a familiarity in the fluffy storytelling and the songs make me so happy. I'm a fan of rituals - be it weddings or festivities. I guess you're always attracted to what you know!

The only western shows I watch are the fantasy ones. I was a huge fan of GOT before the story went down the drain post season 6. Loved The Witcher and looking forward to the new season. Now I'm excited for Shadow and Bone.

I agree and I really love that he is able to guide her since she has not seen the world,

She is naive and his protectiveness for her is what attracts me to him.

But when I say he treats her as an equal, I mean he should not take decisions for her/ for them without having a conversation.

As long as he respects that she is brining in the equality in emo matters and acknowledges it , it is cool.

But you know, IRL also, so many times, older men will be like-you are a kid, you do not know , I know better so that is why we will do this. That is not fair.
