They actually still think balaji or zeetv will think it is wise to scrap doosri peedhi, upon whom there is an actual untapped big track that is being held off for some time, in favour of going for reincarnation of same monotonous couple whose current tracks are not gaining any trps and instead tanking their trp's with their repetitious tracks and when zeetv does not have a good history with having done reincarnation tracks that successfully revive ratings of their dying shows.
I have plenty examples such as Zindagi ki ek mahek, Woh apna sa and Aap ke aa jaane se whom all went and did reincarnation tracks to revive their rating and it did not work. Then there is two recent balaji examples where reincarnation did not really do much wonders for the show's trp which is naagin 5 and before that kasam tere pyar ki where the reincarnation aspect was glossed over and not portrayed properly or that excitingly and the shows moved pretty quickly on from reincarnation aspect.
Then there was popular star plus show kumkum pyara sa bhandan which ended within a few months after they did reincarnation to boost ratings. Same goes for Kaajjal on sony tv which did not last long after reincarnation was introduced.
Once reincarnation is implemented on an already existing show just to extend the show for longer, the show does not last very long, whereas generation leaps focusing on OG couple's kids have a far better success rate with often shows adding years on their run by shifting story to also focus on the next generation of the original characters.
The only good show that focused on reincarnation from start was my all time fave tum bin jaaoon kahan on zeetv, which ran well for two years but it was a show much older than any of these above mentioned shows , having started in 2003 till 2005 and 2 years run time was good by that time's standards, not like now where we seemed to be brainwashed into thinking the only hallmark of a successful show is how many years it remains on air for. I remember even pointing out in kasam tere pyar ki forum about tum bin jaaoon kahan doing well, and clearly some dumbo decided to just google it and say that it wasn't on air for long so it wasn't successful (this was at the time that they decided to replace kritika sengar with another actress for kasam tere pyar ki post reincarnation but it was not successful so they brought kritika back). This proves how brainwashed we all are as an audience to think a show can only be deemed popular or successful or even good if it lasts for many years.
Interesting thing I noticed! Ranbir didn’t bother to involve himself in the case earlier! But the moment he heard Tanu involved Prachi in this case, lag gaya kaam pe! Trigger ho gaya banda! 😛
See, Prachi has to be in trouble for this guy to activate his brain😆
Yeah I like how he was happy to help hone-wali-saas to save hone-waala-sasur, but he was only fired up and ready to do all he can in the case when prachi's name got involved in being defamed by tanu in this case
