yeah, i think he meant to clear a lot of things anyway on the date. date hi nahi hua and MUs hi ho gaye. He gets so riled up when people leave, dont trust him and with Anokhi, also when she is not ready to even listen to him

I have been saying this since last week, they havent had an opportunity to have a full, good, honest conversation since they have realized their own feelings and e/o feelings. If that had happened, no MUs would have happened, at least to not this extent.

But that will be kind of lying to her. He used to say "I love you" to Shagun. He called her "jaan" ,"gorgeous". She had all rights over him that a girlfriend has over her boyfriend. He did all the boyfriend-ly things for her eg giving her gifts, taking her on dates etc etc. It wasn't this deep "love" that he feels for Anokhi , but it was definitely something. Because he was marrying her and did believe that he lover her. Even if it was more of "dimaag" wala pyaar than "dil" waala.

He didn't explain his and Shagun's relationship because he didn't want to. He didn't think it was that important. Because he is over it. He dosen't see her that way anymore and that's what should matter to Anokhi. He didn't explain that what he felt for Shagun was nowhere close to what he feels for her because he was not interested in talking about what he felt for Shagun earlier. So he just gave her the shortest explaination and swiftly moved on to tell her that it dosent matter because now, he loves her and only her.
