Lookwise fair skin and prominent nose bridge with an ever smiling face, from an educational background, participated in regional shows but never been a winner.

Winner of two golden mics first time in the history of II, consistently criticized by Vishal Dadlani to be versatile and sing with feel, when he started delivering he was eliminated.

Not been given enough lines to sing in the last episode

Consistently sidelined by the show makers, under appreciated and under estimated.

Severe backlash by the public.

In that season there was no wild card entry and his elimination did not create a severe vacuum as the others were talented enough to carry the show ahead.

Whereas karma has dealt a severe blow in this season three of their favoured contestants are missing the responsibility of carrying the show forward rests upon just 1 - 2 contestants as the others are mainly one genre singers and the road ahead also does not seem smooth with the threat of covid looming large.

Strange are the ways of karma and strange its happenings teaching that being ethical and honest only pays!

I’ll have to disagree with some of this. It’s a reach to correlate some of these things with karma. How about the fact that the show has skyrocketed in TRP this season and continues generating mass revenue and global appeal beyond even previous seasons? Does that mean you believe the show is completely transparent and honest and ethical with its decisions, if that’s your criteria?

I understand people can sometimes be emotional and try to justify their frustration with superstition or ill-will, but ultimately have to be logical and remember that the show is simply a business. I really liked Nachiket, but unfortunately he just didn’t have the audience support and voting that some of the others have had, hence he was eliminated.

They got highest trp of the season last week so whatever they are doing, its working.

Karma took them to wrong mode in my opinion. Show is more unethical now than before. I don't want to talk about previous elimination as they happened whether fair or unfair. We can't change.

Present situation is more worse as there is no competition left. Whether you sing or don't sing or sing badly if you have fan base you will win. That's the format. Otherwise even after not singing in 4 episodes continuously Pawandeep still in winning race and may win also. Even Asish and Sawai even after missing some episodes they have still fair chance to reach top5. I agree it's a genuine absence but that doesn't make the competition fair.

I guess now other contestants know what's going to happen they can happily chill out. Recently I saw Danish videos except Arunitha everyone are there either she might be practicing as she needs to prepare for many songs or she is completely exhausted and taking rest. Overall even if Pawandeep or Arunitha wins iam not sure how much satisfaction they will have when other singers are not even in a competition mode. The win/loss is fair only when there is tough competition among contestants. By taking out judges involvement they made it too much one sided.

Yeah, you’re completely correct and I wish it wasn’t like this. At the same time, the show was likely in a lose-lose situation either way. If there’s judges involvement, there’s backlash about shadiness and favoritism if a worthy competitor (with a smaller fan base) gets eliminated early. So they probably wanted to just wash their hands clean from any sort of accountability or backlash by letting the audience completely decide the outcome, which has its own issues (like the ones you’ve mentioned).

Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat as you that I preferred a healthy competitive setting which would result in the best possible performances. However, the show caved in and is trying to please everyone and rid themselves of any accountability, so now less popular contestants will be at an even greater disadvantage regardless of talent level

To be honest I don’t trust makers. It might be true. Of course sawai wont say this but forced to say quitting for personal reasons???!!!!
