I was super glad that Raghav stopped too. No matter what , slapping women is a big turn off for me. So happy that even in his rage he controlled himself. Pallu, really is such a big disappointment. She lives and breathes only for her in laws and that blasted saree shop. She’s all talk about family blah blah and yet she carelessly treats her own blood brother!! Not done... how long would it take to say a proper good bye, a loving hug and just her whole body language could’ve conveyed to her brother and sis in law how much she values them. But no, she’s after getting into the good books of her baba. I didn’t like her casual and take-them-for-granted treatment of her dada and sis in law and I hope it bites her in the back soon. Is she thinking that with mandar gone she’ll be the son that VD and Sharda can rely on. I really can’t figure what her motive is.
And Raghav , man I can’t think you can separate RR and sai ever. His helplessness, anger and boiling rage was so well portrayed . The family scenes were gut wrenching. How broken was keerthi and Amma was all bereft in not knowing how to deal with this.
I hope that Raghav is not made to do cheap stuff like BWA because it would not fit in with his character but ITV has burnt me many times so just waiting with fingers crossed that they won’t cross that line with his character. Because if he goes that way, is there a possibility of Pallu ever falling for him? I wonder... also with Raghav being so good about not believing Pallu is capable of cheap tactics does it mean he’s going to fall headlong for her first and the pain of holding it back is what we’ll see until she falls for him too? Because it’s sai and he’s doing such a kickass job of being the Raghav Rao I can say that it will be super fabulous. But I’m up for either of them falling in love first. Khair, with the MUs building up that will take a long long time I guess.
P. S: I’m feeling the withdrawal of not getting any good Ragahvi scenes. I know the track is not suited for it but one can hope na?😆
Completely agree, just a hug would have been good. I'll talk to you on the phone later... ugh... They came from another state not another street! Siddhesh supported her and stood by her when he saw her in trouble but she just ignored them. It makes more sense now why she chose to remain with the Deshmukhs rather than go with her brother. She is driven by a need to feel wanted and subconsciously is still holding on the widow-turned-son of the family angle that she wants to ensure is always top of the Deshmukhs' mind.
I also hope Raghav isn't shown doing cheap stuff, even if it's faking whatever, because it would cross out all the dignity we've seen in this character. He has morals and principles, and huge respect for women. I don't see him crossing the line and being acceptable to the audience. Most importantly if does anything like that, I could never condone Pallavi falling for him and living happily ever after with him not matter how much he apologizes or tries to make amends. Some lines, once crossed, can never be redrawn.
In terms of who falls in love first, I think it could be fabulous either way. Pallavi yearning for him, and feeling guilty about actually falling for the guy whose life she wanted to ruin, feeling as if she betrayed Mandaar's memory or her oath of widowhood, but battling these new emotions and the magnetic attraction to him, especially if she sees nothing warm from him for a few months. On the other hand, if he falls for her first, he would take a long time to accept it and reconcile with it, firstly because he would be busy with his mother and sister's issues, and secondly because he won't be at ease with these feelings. I won't be surprised if he's in denial for a while because whatever that girl did to him in the past still haunts him. Add to the mix his discovery that he has actually married a widow, and though he may not pity her, I find it impossible to believe it won't change the way he thinks or feels about her. Also, Mandaar coming back is the Damocles' sword that we'll have to deal with, as will both families.
In Punar Vivah, when the FL's ex husband came back it was a very interesting arc that they failed to explore - he was gray but they weren't able to sustain it and turned him into an outright villain. At least, no kids are involved in this show so we don't have to deal with it. Geeta Tyagi played the role Sharda is in this show, the FL's MIL who wanted her to remarry.
Re: Raghvi scenes will be in abundance when the time comes. Until then, enjoy the Rao family scenes. They are just gorgeous!
