I really loved today's episode, especially the scene of Raghav and the inspector glaring at each other. I hope we get more such clashes in future, and I'm a little concerned that he heard Raghav say he would kill the person who did this.
I felt uncomfortable when Raghav raised his hand as if to hit Pallavi in the courthouse. I know he was seeing red because all he cared about was bailing them out. I am glad he stopped short of hitting her because at least it showed that even in his blind fury he knew his limits. We all know it would be unpardonable if he had indeed hit her. This again makes me skeptical that he would do something to hurt her dignity because I don't think after seeing Keerti's state he would do that to another woman, but who knows?
Pallavi needs to get over herself, she got overconfident because of the morning victory and is running high on that feeling... Even if Raghav did come to court to stop her, did she really think she could prevent that. Also, he was clearly ignoring her and looking away, but no, she had to interfere. Matlab dono ek jaise hi hain, ek dusre ko dekh kar chup raha nahin jaata. Glad the lawyer corrected her misconception.
Interestingly enough, despite hearing about the bail, she didn't really focus on it and I don't blame her. She's busy trying to safeguard her shop, but for how long? The mention of original papers makes me think Raghav will investigate and snatch the DSE ownership from the Deshmukhs (not that I'd mind). Also, props to Siddhesh for being the voice of the audience again about Pallavi working herself to the bone for these useless people and not even having time for her brother and sister-in-law. I have a strong feeling she will end up going to them in Kolhapur at some point when she has her 'aha' moment about what's really wrong in her world. I would love to see her there, trying calm down but her mind and heat still in Hyderabad. I do understand it might take a while before we get such a track because of COVID restrictions making it tough to shoot in multiple locations.
I loved how Raghav let Farhad handle some of the dealings in the police station and remained outside. He was again very conscious that his anger could jeopardize things. The concept of consent was interestingly shown here... Even though Jaya is his mother and she knows he comes with good intentions, Rahav hesitated a moment before putting the shawl on her and waited for the right non-verbal cues. It was really symbolic of Raghav putting his protection around his Amma. Keerti again was the bridge and I think she will continue to play this role for the longer term. I know it's not fair but I really missed the old Amma in this scene, she would have taken it to another level. However, I felt terrible for both women and how they just broke down after the day's ordeal. It was a trauma after all these years of keeping a low profile, and I can only guess that it reminded them of their bitter past. I'm just speculating, of course, because we don't know what really happened all those years ago. Even when they reached home, Amma didn't take her son's hand... she was still struggling with all these emotions and her heart ached seeing her daughter distraught.
The way Anna beat up those guys for insulting his family made me feel so satisfied, and the background score he was fantastic. Props to the camera work - the angles were fantastic, especially when he had his shoe on the guy's face. It's such shots that take the scene to another level altogether. For once, Farhad gladly stopped and watched his Anna spill blood, until his mother called for a stop. Even in his anger, his dialogue of ensuring the guy couldn't do time pass with his wife made me crack up. I love seeing the don side of him again and hope it continues for a while, enough of being softy softy. I also noted how angry Farhad got when he heard those disgusting comments too, as though it were his family. This guy is pretty much Raghav's shadow and is privy to his most vulnerable moments, and the fact that he was witness to everything that happened shows he's very much an unofficial member of the family. It's also setting the stage for him to understand why Raghav will do what he will do next and Farhad will just have to grit his teeth and bear with it while trying his best to minimize the damage. Damn, all this family drama is much more costly than losing their diamond stash.
Raghav kept reassuring Keerti that her Anna was still alive and there to protect her, gently holding her face with so much love and care. Every sob of hers was met with a sob in his heart and you could see his breathing becoming more ragged by the second. Very well shot and performed by Sayli and Sai. šMy heart was heavy seeing the way the usually brave Keerti tried to regain control of her emotions but could no longer do it and reached out for the comfort of her brother's shoulder to cry on. I just got the feels when she nearly collapsed on him from emotional exhaustion and her Anna was there as a rock to support her physically and mentally. Then, the way he just pulled his mother close to him with full right as the eldest son, she didn't resist and it made a sad picture of the family of three hugging and sharing their pain. Raghav was raging inside but he cried with them too. All the money in the world couldn't prevent his precious family from being hurt. The stuff of his nightmares just came true and how! Damn, what a fabulous portrayal of a man who can be very strong yet not afraid to show his feelings! We need more those on TV. I can watch that scene again and again. I would take Rao family over the Deshmukhs any day, give me an entire episode of them and I won't tire.
I loved the moment when Raghav removed his hood to show his face to Jagdish Jr. Very stylishly done with great camera work. It felt like a gangster flick, and I am super happy to see him back with a gun. I also like that Raghav didn't immediately believe it could be Pallavi and even in the precap he says "if"... BWA might have her next move planned to ensure he believes 100% that it was Pallavi but I believe she will also convince Rambo that Pallavi was behind the scandal so that he throws her out. That's why there was an overdose of sweetness today in his words. It's only temporary but our Pallavi melted on the spot when he said sorry. Even Amruta was fed up of her mother and her scheming ways. Her mother's greed was overflowing in every word she uttered and you could tell Amruta wanted to untangle herself from it. BWA will be left all alone one day and would have destroyed her daughters' lives beyond repair while she is busy tormenting others. Karma, karma, karma...
I wonder, if after this Amma and Keerti would agree to staying at Raghav's place for additional security. We found out he has an IT team... why doesn't he send them to find out about Anjali and all the other rubbish that BWA comes up with? I hope he does and that his blind rage doesn't prevent him from digging deeper. I must say she played this round well and even prepped Jagdish Jr. for what to say because she knew Raghav would be after him, rather she ensured he was spotted on their CCTV. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Jagdish Jr. is as sleazy as his father and probably in the process of mastering the same cheap tactics he used to use with others. He played his part well at gunpoint and didn't miss a beat, but who tells a courier guy the details of their revenge story, at least Pallavi wouldn't. I personally would not take seriously the words of a guy who was still holding on to his ice cream when two gangsters were after him. Raghav shouldn't either, but his comment made me crack up again. I like that they don't forget to insert his funny one-liners even in serious situations. š Someone tell Raghav that not everyone is into tire-bashing and most people like eating such yummy (junk). š
Pre-cap - when will Pallavi be thrown out and when will Raghav strangle this person imaginary or otherwise?
PS I had been wondering since the show started why the actress playing BWA seemed so familiar and I just realized today she was in GHKKPM, playing a very different role. LOL
