A part of me wishes to see the Bucky x Natasha backstory, it was quite tragic according to the comics

For Bucky though it has to be a new character, someone who has superpowers but not a part of the Avengers when she meets him. Maybe they can bring in an East Asian or South Asian character.

I actually love Leah from epi 1❤️ she was like the light in Bucky's dark, just too oblivious from all hai mess though😭

The reason I shipped him and Natasha is coz she knew what he went thru and would actually be able to help both of them thru their horrors. Bucky has had it as bad as Loki and they both cannot be with regular people, it has to be someone who can understand his experience.

In the comics not only did he train her, but they were romantically involved, even married in some versions. Bucky ended up getting out of his Winter Soldier programming after falling in love with her, causing HYDRA to put him in cryostasis. When they reunited after 50 years, HYDRA captured Natasha and wiped off her memories. Bucky helped her regain her memories, but the relationship had been erased forever.

The movies even teased this: in Civil War when she fights him for 10 seconds with her legs around his neck and he's choking her she says "you could at least recognise me"...since Nat had got out of her brainwashing when she joined SHIELD.

Hence I hope Seb's done a cameo in Black Widow, maybe we get a sneak peak. 💔 It could be slightly different, Nat and Bucky both getting their memories wiped off while Bucky gets reprogrammed as the Winter Soldier...but after Hawkeye recruits her for the United States, she regains memories of Bucky, hence she questions him in Civil War. Tragic, considering how he tried to kill her but she remembered him 💔

Sarah would be the worst thing for him, Bucky would lose his mind again without the trigger words 😆

Leah lived a normal life, I mentioned above it has to be someone who can help him thru his trauma. The man lived like a weapon for 100 years, I doubt Leah would be able to handle if the Winter Soldier ever emerged, even if for a teensy second.

Maybe a girl from Shang Chi's movie or and Indian superhero...no one from Bollywood though, fresh casting only 😆

The reason why I said Leah was a) the actress and Deb's offscreen pic is super cute

b) everyone he meets, except Sam, makes it a point to remind him of his past. Leah and Nakajima did too, but theirs was unintentional.

I think it was unintentional. When buck tries to flirt, maybe he can't, like with Leah, but still comes across as cute. But when he doesn't even want, he manages to flirt, like with the girls from the 40s and Sarah, becuase he is a charmer by default🤣
