And that's the beauty of such scenes. We have seen Pallavi admiring him a number of times, but he hardly admire her looks and to see that side of him was so magical.

His anger and hatred are cent percent a cover up. He hides behind that wall and him coming out of it may take time but him peeking out of it like this would be a treat to watch.
