I too hope it is not Imlie walking in that patches the hole for a bit. But if Malini decides to go off on Imlie, Aditya chup rahega kya iss baar? Tough to say with that guy.

LOL Imlie toh has just become a readymade excuse for both Adi-Malini to fight over rather than discussing their own issues😆. Yes, Aditya will absolutely jump to defend Imlie fiercely if Malini goes off on her😆....and much as I appreciate his defense of Imlie, I'd rather he complete one argument with Malini first rather than subjecting us to this rinse/repeat of Didi ke "I don't know" rants. 😆

People don't change so drastically.....it is just that their true selves get revealed in time. Adi hasn't become a new person - it was just that he hadn't discovered his true self before this. I'm more and more convinced that Malini built up a fantasy about him since day one that he just didn't bother correcting for a long time....now that fantasy is falling apart as Adi discovers his own true self and Malini can't cope with the fact that she attached herself to a fantasy, not reality.

Adi got attracted to her because she made a statement at the conference which was in alignment to his values and thinking. In that same scene, we see that he looked at her after she made the statement and then by her beauty So he is still the same person who is more attracted to the inner beauty than the outer beauty. With Malini I guess that inner beauty attraction did not sustain for long and I guess Aditya never really pondered over it later to even determine that if it was love or just infatuation that he gave the name love.

Looking at Malini now it does not seem that she ever gave him a moment to even think about his own feelings as she kept him wrapped in an aura of guilt resulting in moon jaap.

Yeah I still remember how bummed I got after that epi even after getting such a lovely Adi-Imlie scene😆.....Didi ne sab kachra kar diya with her horrible tantrum.....uske baad Adi groveling in front of her also put me off big time back then😆.....Imlie bechaari toh murga bhi ban gayi thi Didi ke saamne🤔

Anyways, I was watching this coin wala bit today toh yaad aaya ki Adi has this token from her and I wish they revisit/talk about it one of these days.....

Kitna sweet tha yeh scene the way Adi accepted her congrats, then the coin....itna sweetly thank you bhi bola😆

Yeah, I would love to hear Adi's version of this first meet now.....cuz bahut delusions hain in saat saalon ke that need to be revealed😆.....Malini might force this discussion since she only keeps claiming saat saalon mein sab theek tha....so they need to unravel that perception gap between her and Adi about what these 7 years actually were😆.

That was the first time he elevated Imlie to Malini’s status unknowingly. What a lovely scene! Malini never understood what his work meant for him; was never supposed to.

It will definitely be nice if they can revisit it some time. Now would actually be apt but let’s see

@bold 1: 😆....Probably cuz that was a facade too na....and a person agreeing with you on one thing doesn't mean they are instantly in alignment with all your values and thinking, Aditya Babu😆.....I do feel he must have casually asked Malini out over that one moment of agreement and uske baad koi baatein hi nahin ki in depth and bas dates/shopping ki aadat daal li😆

@bold2: Exactly....however the relationship was initiated, once they were in it, Adi just fell along into the pattern of guilt and compulsion without getting a moment to reflect objectively.

That coin scene is another one highlighting the difference between Adi-Imli relationship and Adi-Malini relationship. Imlie expected nothing from him, not even to show his award to her, and he accidentally reached her before reaching Malini, but all that was not even in Imlie's mind. Imlie just wanted to make him feel special for getting the award. How beautifully she explained the importance of the coin to him before giving it to him. It was not just a shagun ka coin, which Malini also gave him, but it held deep importance to Imlie, it was the most precious and keemti cheez Imlie had that she gave to Aditya. And that smile on Aditya's face when Imlie held his award high was all so heartwarming to see.

On the other hand, Malini did so much for Aditya so she could celebrate with him alone. And when it did not go her way, no genuine explanation from Aditya worked with her. Instead of letting it go and making Aditya feel special, it was all about her, her hurt, her feelings, and how she waited with him to get this award. She made him feel guilty for not coming to her first and as usual, Aditya took on the role to pacify her, the happiness from getting the award long gone.
