Like the vulnerable look with which Imlie turned to look back at him as he stopped to sit with the rest of the reporters below the stage and then he gave her a reassuring look to carry on onto the stage on her own.

Then the fact that he raised his hand to ask the first question of the PC😆....and called her MA'AM😆....and Imlie getting the chance to invoke her Sita Maiyya as answer to the first question toh uske baad at ease ho gayi and found her rhythm😆.....such subtle ways mein they showed their taal mel as partners and the way Adi sambhaaloed her today as she was nervous about this new level of spotlight/attention.

Finally the cherry on the icing...the way Imlie talked from her heart about the what she's gotten without asking for it.....saath ka vaada, rishte par haq, uski nishaani mili which is priceless for her....all of this while looking at Adi....telling him again that she values what he gave her....finally capping with the most heartfelt acceptance that she can give him at this moment - hat she knows she is not alone....it was a big acknowledgement for Imlie to do that too :)....the girl who is so used to going it alone on everything determinedly today accepted that she knows she has someone with her that she can count on...Adi's efforts to give her that assurance are bearing fruit😆.

I think that whole press conference was a testament to the confidence that Adi has in Imlie. That she does not need support, she can handle any situation on her own but she gets scared when alone. All she needs is saath and he wants to provide that forever. That is exactly what he did during this press conference. Even the bit in the beginning when Imlie was asking him for encouragement, he didn't say anything. He was just standing there and listening to her encourage herself. Like just providing the saath and then the last bit where he said that just do it from the heart with my favorite, their signature gesture "hand on the cheek". I love it when he does that, it shows so much of affection that it always make me smile (I know you don't find it impressive enough so just ignore my gushing 😛). Few words from him and that is all Imlie needed from him to walk forward. Even when she was little vulnerable on the stage, he did that hand on the heart gesture reminding her to speak from the heart. and that he is there. It is so beautiful to see how they elevate each other based on the situation and fulfill each other kamiyaans, encourage each other when needed, be there when required. and just push each other to be the best version of themselves.

The other thing that I liked was her remembering Satyakaam and his words which again gave her the himmat. There were two pillars of her life that have pushed her so far and now she has included Aditya in that fold. The way she accepted his saath, showed her happiness for the gift that he gave which is unmol for her and ensured him that she is happy in the little that she has got. It was almost as if they were having their own conversation in a roomful of people. No one other than them understood the significance of Imlie's words and how valuable they were for the person who is trying to be patient even though it is totally against his basic personality just because he now knows the value of love 😊

I know everybody keeps calling keeps calling stupid but mujhe toh oyaar aa jaata hai in sab pe inka bholapan dekh ke.. it has been too long ke maine aisi positive and happy family tv pe dekhi ho and I kinda cherish that..

Waise how adorable was aparna just like a mommy samjhaooing imlie pehle fixing her sari and fixing her hair 🤣 in the instinct koi try nahi kar rahi to show something baaton baaton main she started just like the mommy making sure uska bacha looks ek dum prim and proper. Yehi baatein just makes their bond so special.. the things she can easily do with imlie and not even touch malini.. the difference just keeps getting glaringly obv. I also found it so sweet them telling imlie ke sab uske saaty homge in spirit. So when imlie says woh rishton ki Dhani hai it makes ne teary caz indeed .

And that press conference, even if it may seem a tad bit tailored to people who like things over the top, is proof why this show might just be able to manage showing a supportive partner in the truest sense on ITV. And do it right for the first time. Saying a show is about empowerment is easy but showing it is where the tricky aspect comes in. Sometimes drama overtakes everything else and the original intention gets lost. But I think this show will be able to balance the drama and Imlie’s journey with Aditya’s support quite well. Even when we all thought her education was being put on the backburner a bit, that pause was needed in order to sort out other threads in the story so that the progression makes sense.

And the fact that it has been stable with the audience means that they have been able to create and sustain the storytelling without needing any extreme drama or standard villains who do stupid things for the sake of it. Here’s just hoping that the makers are able to tell the story the way they want until the end.

Waise on the first point wasnt it Malini who said ki SM ka sindoor lagake gayi 🤣 That's our esteemed professor who has just learned about sindoor and its importance 😆 but I hear you... its adorable how they have just take things on face value... koi malaal nahi hain dil mein so they feel the whole world is similar...

Oh that was so sweet of Aparna.. it was similar to what she did when Imlie was going to AC house ki do not get angry and be nice, perform well jaise mummy send kids to exam plus the T's all making her comfortable with their antics so she lets go of the nervousness. It really shows their achai and apnapan that they have among themselves.

Aparna will never d that with Malini because they have not bonded at all to let go of that formalityso the distance is there.. Malini focus was always Aditya and rest were part and parcel of it. Hence she could not stay even a day after he left but Imlie's focus was family and Aditya is important part of it because for her sasural ki seva karna dharam hain. Not saying that you need to believe that to build the bonds with the sasural but you need to take the effort to bridge that distance and Malini has not done nor shows any inclination of doing it, so the formality remain.

So true on the bold...she has really become so rich in rishtas with all the T's and C's excluding AC and its unmol for her.

Exactly the storytelling and the way it is done is what is pulling the audience and keeping us hooked. The one thing that they are balancing here is that being empowered does not mean you have to let go of your culture. You can be a strong personality, have a good career and still hold down to your roots on which your ideals and culture are based. You do not have to give up one for other. Its not a choice but a balance that you need to learn and adjust according to the situation and that is what in the true sense being empowered is. 😊

I think it was the latter. He felt very bad for Imlie I think. Especially the way she said it. Malini is brutal with her passive aggressiveness and it is now on full display to Aditya. Pretty sure he is registering all her behavioral changes like she supposedly is.

Felt more like discomfort to me.....he didn't seem happy to begin with that Malini gave her sari to Imlie and then Malini rubbed it in more that she wanted her sari to go with Aditya, that's when Adi got even more uncomfortable and turned off I think😆

Remains to be seen when he realizes that these extreme/weird things Malini is now doing are not out of love for him but it's veering into the obsessive zone now.

What a 180 degree change in her... Little time back she was all upset with Aditya because of the cancelled date and then she was telling Imlie about her disappointment and then she was giving this big smile and taking selfie's and calling "Aditya" as if everything is perfect in their world. Where did the disappointment go? Why wasn't she upset with Aditya? As you said @bold 2, its is very twisted where she just let go of everything, giving that fake smile, looking as if nothing is amiss but still taunting in that "meethi shuri" way. If this has been her for ever, how did Aditya manage the last 7 years... by being guilty and doing moon jaap?🤢

The more he is doing that the more her restlessness and obsessiveness is increasing. She wants that one evening or one time with him where his focus is only her and she is not getting that from him so her obsessiveness is increasing but her obviousness is not decreasing.

Yes, Adi's smiles in response to Malini calling out to him are getting more and more tepid/formal😆. Feel like she only did that selfie with Imlie nautanki also to get his attention only ki dekho maine Imlie ki photo li, yeh toh you will like na😆....but Adi ne uske response mein bhi token si smile hi di....he's just damn uncomfortable around Malini all the time now😆

Adi has mostly just stopped responding to Malini in anyway.....it's very token hi/hello, polite smiles....and yes that is driving up her restlessness/obsessiveness.....even if she fights with him, she will soon revert to her usual tears/guilt trips as well....how long does Adi think he can manage this in silent mode? lol kuch toh stance lena padega Malini-wise even if Imlie hasn't made her decision yet. Things will come to a head at this rate cuz Malini is getting more crazed now. Adi doesn't seem like he can manage to go back to doing Moon jaap to pacify her...toh phir dusra option toh yehi hai ki itna toh sach toh bol do that you can't give her what she wants.....Malini just may drive him up the wall enough for him to admit he doesn't love her.....lol phir kya hoga?
