Not sure...but in some versions it is Krishna...Golok ka Krishna not Avtar Krishna.

The story is of Vrinda/ Tulsi and Jalandhar obviously Vishnu came there as she was a devotee of Vishnu.

Lekin Jo Krishna ko Supreme deity maante hain According to them Ram, Parashuram etc. are Avtars of supreme God Krishna

Ab ye waale Radha Krishna to laut aaye hain Golok to yehi hue

That case is a bit different.

1) In Valmiki Ramayana Ahalya willingly slept with Indra.

2) In other versions Indra took the form of Gautama.

But then too Gautama cursed Ahalya in rage. Rage doesn't always follow reason.

But in Tulsi's case her power of Pativratya weakens. The logic is confusing.

The concept of Pativtratva has always been exhibited in this way. As Chhiillli had said earlier, whatever we say women were always told stories about how her life should be all about her husband so we find many such stories that a Pativtratva naari shouldn't have a touch of any other man

In Sulochana Meghnath story (not in Valmiki Ramayana), once Lakshman kills Meghnath, one of his hands flies and falls in front of Sulochana.

She recognizes that it's Meghnath's hand but wasn't 100% sure so she doesn't touch it, and orders the hand that if it's of Meghnath and if her Pativtratvatva has some power the Hand should confirm it in writing and the hand does that

Whether or not it was wilful even the touch of another man (excluding husband, and maybe father, brothers sons etc in external body parts) took away the Sativa of lady

Consider it a metaphor.

Vishnu went to her in the form of her husband = seduced her, not raped. Could have been rape also, but it wouldn't accomplish the next step if it were rape.

She became unfaithful = she betrayed her husband in a material way, perhaps leaked plans. This is why I think it was seduction. She would have no reason to leak plans to an assaulter.

Husband died = clear enough.

She figured out she was seduced for this purpose = she either curses Vishnu out of anger or has him thrown in stone dungeon

I don't think Vrinda story is anything like Historical. In fact I doubt Vishnu was ever a historical person.

It's would have been just one of many folklores to make women completely devoted to their husbands and not even dare to see out.

Later it got a place in the Puranas

Unless we're talking about identical twins, no way a wife doesn't recognize an impostor enough to sleep with him.

Actually, even with identical twins, there would be differences in bedroom behavior which the lady would pick up on.

No people can put up face masks. According to many historians Face masks have been in known to mankind since millennia.

Behaviour thing I agree but maybe he would have studied the behaviour

Seems I am late as usual sab chale gaye

Ye show banaane waale apne convenience k hisab se dikhaate hain. My mama is into this business. He was the main writer of Jai Ganesh (a show that aired in 90s on DD)

To ek baar they had a scene of Ganesh killing some Rakshas. He had already written the scene and everything. But on the day of shooting, the actor playing that Rakshas got severely ill. They had to send the episode to the channel

So he and the director changed the script mildly. Took a girl from the crew got her dressed like a Rakshasi and made the scene that when Ganesh arrives to kill this Rakshas, his sister (who has absolutely no mention in any scripture that they knew) comes and says that her brother has gone for some work but it's good that Ganesh came here as now she will kill Him and make her brother happy. Ganesh says that he didn't want to kill a female but she has left no other option for Him

Then they start with exactly the scene they had planned to have for that Rakshas vadh with only changing the dialogue from masculine to feminine.

Kya hi bologe
