I watched a few Pakistani dramas before and loved them.. I have tried watching Rangrasiya and Saraswatichandra but couldn’t go past a few episodes and was never hooked onto them(although I thought the actors were quite good! 😍) I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of good actors working in television. It’s so sad they don’t get the same recognition as movie stars do. But thankfully it’s changing due to web content and streaming platforms!
Yes, this is so true. Till now what I like about this show is they kind of use logics for most things. The script writing is not dumb, disconnected in the sense that writers don't suffer from Amnesia too much like in other itv shows.
All the supporting characters are shown logical too. Babli, Dj, Aastha, Shaan, Kanchan, Gayatri, tej even, Anokhi's mom, Aahir etc.
And out of most things, leads are shown intelligent which kind of keeps me as an audience hooked to the show. Like today, Anokhi reprimanded them both (Shauhir) for the mistakes each of them committed. For, Shaurya I don't think he is a mysogynist, just what he has been fed since a child by Devil. He has a progressive thought processes. He stands for right things, and he also wants Anokhi to complete her education, so he is definitely not a mysogynist but someone with progressive mentality. His regressive thoughts what he has been fed till now will change over time when Anokhi shows him the correct path.
