Anyway, this topic has been discussed a thousand times, and it all comes down to whether filmmakers have a social responsibility while making movies or not.

An artist has the right to express his/her art however he/she wants. If people get influenced by it, it's not his/her problem.

This mentality is usually shared by people who aren't on the receiving end of the problems created by these movies.

So while art shouldn't have boundaries, it has to have if we want to see a change. A movie like Kabir Singh might be technically good, but a misogynist society doesn't need it right now.

Unfortunately change only happens when you go radical.

Another issue that I have is how Bollywood depicts Rape in movies.

Rape is not sex, it’s an act of violence against a woman. But Bollywood shows rapes as an act of lust n sexual act. This leads men to think it’s okay to desire a woman and force upon her as the act is NOT violence, its NOT crime and it’s just sexual fulfilment for him.
