He did realise his mistake during lunch fiasco, he felt sorry from bottom of his heart and told her he wont harm her again. But today he didn't let her enter CN and kept her outside in midnight, repeating his mistake.

The only redemption would be to apologise to Sai and regret his actions. Not expect anything from Sai, not even forgiveness.

I agree with you on this. But Virat expects a lot from Sai. That she should always follow his and his fam's order, not replying to bf and family's taunts, etc.

Why should he resign? Because he did this? He should be ashamed but that doesn't mean he resigns from his duty. It is his job to protect people, just because he failed his wife, it doesn't mean he has no responsibility towards people. He has taken an oath and has to fulfill his responsibilities as an IPS officer. Resigning his job is not a way to redeem.

We have seen how low the elders can go. What they did was nothing but crime(holding a girl hostage and keeping her away from husband, seperating mother child, kidnapping, tampering and destroying documents, bribing). He also saw that his dad was about to slap his wife and fam tortured her during mirchi fiasco, but he overlooked all of this domestic violence as if they were nothing. He has been told to take charge of women's safety. He could never see the atrocities of the 'person he loved and couldn't live without' faced, how will he even look into public's problems.

He has made a promise to Pakhi to be her friend, to be with her at good and bad times. He has already broken the promise made to Kamal sir today by acting this way, do you want this too to be broken? The friendship should be broken only when something goes wrong between him and Pakhi, not when something goes wrong between him and Sai.

I agree with you on this point. But what I feel is he still doesn't understand that problems between him and Sai are because of his BF. Friendship has limits to it, which Pakhi has crossed all the time. A smart guy like Virat couldn't see through her intentions. Friendships this toxic need to be called off. Sunny is that ideal friend who supported and adviced Virat the right thing. When he felt that the feelings he developed at yoga camp were genuine, he supported him. And when he understood about Virat's feelings for Sai he encouraged him, forgetting whatever happened between him and Pakhi, because that's what he felt right for Virat at that time.

Virat needs to understand that Pakhi just wants him, even if it is at the cost of his happiness, she just wants to possess him.

Yes, he has to arrest Paku when he comes to know and if the spineless guy files a complaint against them. That again need not be for redemption, it is his duty.

I have zero hopes from the spineless professor. The girl who literally risked the family she had for your wedding, risked her life to free you, you don't even bother to provide strong evidence and keep on blabbering " AB HUM KYA KARENGE SAI?" "MUJHE DARR LAG RAHA HAI" "MAIIN KAKU KE KHILAF COMPLAINT NAHI KARUNGA" and then ask Sai, a freaking 19 year old, "MUJHE MERI DEVYANI SE MILA DO" like you are asking a chocolate.

About Divorcing Sai, have mentioned how he should apologise, it is upto Sai to forgive him or not. This comes later if Sai needs it, he should agree to the divorce. Or after things settle down, he can propose to Sai that if she wants, he will free her from this marriage.

Cutting ties with family, is it not like cutting ties with Sai too right now? I have a mixed feeling about this. Not sure if this is a path of redemption.

Even I am a bit confused about cutting ties. But now it is Sai and the gang on opposite side, so he will be compelled to choose one from them (if he ever thinks about it)

Agreed over here,I don't want a rant from Virat that Sai ,I am asking fir forgiveness and ready to move on,so why can't you? Don't want him to behave in a dominating way with a sad bgm. For me,the biggest forgiveness does not lie in sorry, but the day Virat realises his mistake,rather than mistake ,let me say Virat realises and identifies the grey area which lies right infront his eyes,which either he does not know, or he knows but does not want to see. The day this happens, then all of this will reduce (sorry can't say stop in CN) automatically.

@bold even now you want to know only about how Sai manages? Don't you want to know how Virat wants to face himself, face a mirror?

I want to know how Virat even faces himself, forget facing Sai.

Feeling sorry for a character should not be so strong that we cannot feel sorry for the person whom the character has wronged. I understand your emotions for Virat but not at all this time when he is extremely wrong. I am sorry I am getting lost at your bitterness for the girl Sai. It looks like even after Virat does anything wrong, you will only feel sorry for Virat.
