Actually he doesn't expect validation from people, he expects it only from Anokhi and that too not as a saviour but he only wanted her to acknowledge the good in him, because before that there had been a series of misunderstanding between them be it with regards to Aastha or the riots MU.

Hence the "chaar baatein boori karti ho to aat baatein sunaaye bhi deti ho lekin dho acchi batein karti hoon uska kya"

and he doesn't have saviour complex (my pov completely) because if you go back to the episode where he saves Anokhi in the ragging episode, he has tears in his eyes when Anokhi is hugging him and there was nothing romantic about that hug at all! It was completely about Anokhi's distress and to him she was genuinely just a student at the point but his eyes were moist because he is empathetic as a person and this is what we see when he buys food for the mother-son duo.

The reason I think they'll be revisiting the library scene and haven't closed that thread is because he realised that his words had hurt Anokhi not because he realises the gravity of his words completely because even after his conversation with Kanchan though he realises that he shouldn't have spoken like that about any girl he only thinks back to Anokhi's words "Mere liye izzat se badkar kuch bhi nahi hai sir" not his own caustic words. The makers were deliberate on his slow realisation of the mistake and it isn't complete because when Anokhi asks him to promise that he would never use such words not just for her but anybody there is a split second hesistance from his end.

I really hope the reason Shaurya ends up in jail is because of ACP and not himself, because for once I want to be on his side during a fiasco with the ACP 😆

And also watch Anokhi side with him

It's actually the reason why she's so attracted to him too. Cause the girl has had her father beating her up, had almost married a douchebag. If not for Astha, and also her mum and Bablee, she would have been stuck in the hell hole. Even Astha, helped her to fight off the Sabherwals. Girl needs support and it's not wrong. Everyone needs support man. She didn't get it from her parents anyways. Now toh, she dosen't have a home other than hostel. She has nowhere to go. She literally needs support. She's strong , no doubt, but it's unfair to expect her to brave everything alone. I am happy that she gets help from him😆. The girls needs that and loads and buckets of love.

Also, everyone who say that Astha braved it alone, she didn't have the shitty parents that Anokhi had. If u look around, there's no real support for Anokhi other than Astha maam. Even her mom and sister will not be able to offer her shelter now!

Also, Its okay to need support in life..I am glad she has few people in her corner..She has had a tough life. Her father is a prick. Mother never stood up before the wedding. Sister was in her own misery. Astha Ma'am was the only person she could rely on.

Actually, the reason behind us being so protective of our leads is because we feel BOTH of them NEED true PURE love , in abundance !!

I just love Anokhi's caring nature and unconditional love for people whom she cares for.

Today also her, kya hua, lag gayi, came out of so much care.

She is going to be equally protective of him , if not more.. !!

Their love is different but its boundless.

For once, I want Anokhi to chide tha ACP, saying itni si baat ke liye you did xyz.

I really want him to see how protective she is for him.

Well if our wings are going to be cut we might as well fly high and have a long fall before we hit the ground 😆

For me the saviour complex stood out when at the apartment he tried to stop Anokhi by guilt tripping her. He low key implied that she was being ungrateful for wanting to leave after both he and Shaan had fought their relatives for her education. Earlier when he tore up her rustication letter he really believed that he redeemed himself without realising that both the incidents were separate. It took him a lot of time to apologize properly. But even while apologizing, he brought up the riot MU to justify his anger and bitterness. The line - mai char baatein galat karta hu, tum aath baatein suna deti ho...... I felt like he was guilt tripping her when he said that.

His apology was genuine no doubt. And he can be better as he's shown that he's willing to work on himself but as of now, he hasn't really broken out of that pattern. If pushed enough, by Devi maybe, he can possibly go back to his old ways.

Soo True... The beginning ke episodes make me literally cringe. The way Anokhi was treated in her house...damn..no girl deserves that. Even the ppl who came to see her checked how she walked, pulled her hair to see if it was real, the guy was shamelessly checking her out 🤢, as if she's an object. I mean, whenever I look at those epis...my heart just goes out for this girl.... I mean, she literally deserves a man going gaga over her. Also, I love how she can throe tantrums around SS and he takes it all. Like the girl never got to throw tantrums in her life, she deserves all of this now.

One more reason why their hug post ragging was special to me was because...through so many episodes..I wanted to give her a hug. She almost got molested, was made fun of etc etc. She needed that hug so bad!

I dont mind if Shaurya has any protector/saviour insttinct, cause, I feel Anokhi needs a person like that.

@bold- Oh yeah, this ANNOYED the fucck out of me. And her grandmother, father , BIL, Brother think men are the gift to mankind. RIDICULOUS.

The way Shaurya cared for her post the ragging incident was very sweet. But he did not believe her the next day ? Did he? I have missed those episodes..

They will take turns to be each other's PROTECTOR and NURTURER.

No roles will be defined. Thats the beauty of equality right.

She will smother him with love and he will lap it all up and return manifold.

I am just impatient to see when this will happen
