I don't think he will back off until she clearly says no either. Mostly because he isn't sure that Anokhi/Shaurya's equation is that of a couple yet so he counts himself still in the running. I guess it's precisely because I know that Anokhi is going to totally reject him that all his attempts now are like whatever to me. The issue is that it's fine right now when Anokhi is all googly eyes for Shaurya. When she MUs him and starts to treat ACP like her friend and Shaurya like her enemy again, then I can't guarantee that I'll be able to stay as positive. Because in some ways Ahir is smart and he knows when he is ahead and when he isn't. He knows right now Anokhi is on Shaurya's side so he isn't actively provoking Shaurya in the same way. When Anokhi is back on his side, I can't be sure he won't do that.

Ahir is SMART.. Ahir is into her !!

He will not leave any chance till he is sure about both their feelings.

I wish he supports her during the whole MU fest..

He will understand the depth of her feelings.

Also, do you guys think, Shaurya will get engaged to Shagun in anger like a typical ITV ML ?

This will happen. He won't care about anything till the time she will walk ahead, with confident steps fighting every drop of pain caused by the consequences of their love. While she will seek the acceptance of world on their behalf, he will find peace in one of her touch.

She will fight the battles for them, and he will succumb to relief on her one smile !

But he would be worried if she will ever give up, on them, on him and why wouldn't he be ?! His own parents gave up on him after all! His insecurities will show up in the blazing shades and he would try to trace the steps she will take. No matter even if they will walk on different paths, he will trace her steps. And at the end their destination will be of few regrets but strong beliefs, broken hearts but beating souls.

Second the actress is typecast she is more subtle here than in QH and Swaragini (She wasn't behind the couple in this one I think)

Yeah, They are shwoing the contrast between ACP and Shaurya as well.. Shaurya was not able to compliment her, ACP did very freely, that too twice.

But the heart wants what the heart wants right !
