Bad writing at this point, they could have shown Virat going to talk and someone stopped him or tai was drugged to sleep. Atleast some logical effort by him without blindly accepting Sai’s or Pulkit words when he first heard the news.

He has been ignoring many hints. I replied to a friend today too, he didn't try to find Pulkit's history after Pulkit visited their house. Any brother who wants to get their sister married would do it. His statement to Pakhi saying I have faith in Sai that she would have found out and all doesn't make sense at all. That isn't enough.

An evidence broke that faith, I can understand. Sai made him think even after that and he did agree to investigate again, but before that all this happened.

But to me, forget the investigation after the letter came, he should have verified or did a background check as soon as Pulkit visited their house.

And about ignoring the past, any number of reasons can be given, he can ignore it if it was Mohit, not when it relates to Devi Tai.

To prevent people from getting married again and to prevent them from cheating their spouse. Again, if the marriage happens as per customs, it is a proof but sometimes having it in a paper helps.

For a spouse to be declared as a legal heir, to claim damages during divorce or to withdraw money from bank after the spouse's death. To get a share of their property as a legal heir.

I get that pa. I am just saying my parents generation didn’t have the culture of registering the marriage. It only became a norm in 90’s where a registrar was present in the wedding hall itself!

Well it’s a different story in 90’s most of them married to a person living in US and had to apply for visa immediately to accompany the spouse.

I don't fully agree to this. Yes, he gets emotional, but as an officer jn duty, can we expect him to get carried away by emotions? Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't have. He would be controlling himself from acting a brother.

How much ever we say that he is doing all of these in emotions, we can't ignore that he himself is in a turmoil and he is fighting himself to not give in to Devi's cries.

Let us say Pulkit was a real fraud. Wouldn't we have questioned him if he had got carried away by emotions and given into her request. It is tricky.

He ks wrong in many ways, but I wouldn't blame if he wants to hold back his emotions too at this point of time. He is not getting the hints. Also, this was a sudden move and a totally unexpected one. Right now, he would only want to take his sister away from the guy whom he believes is married.

I know what u r saying 😆. Many rules had changed. If one has to withdraw money from a deceased spouse's account, they either have to be a nominee or a legal heir.

There were a lot of litigations wrt marriage, divorce. They had to bring in this rule to stop many illegal acts. Inlaws refusing to give share of property of deceased spouse and what not.
