Someone from the Europe Shock to see Shahrukh not singing his songs

So its conversation on Suraj Huwa Madham song video and he/she claimed that people will shame actors here in Europe if they can not sing there own songs or need a playback

To be honest, I don't like the idea of actors singing their own songs. They're supposed to act, not sing unless they're actor-singers, which most of the time they're not.

Playback is the way to go, you just need to make sure the voice is in sync with the personality of the actor.

I am shocked to know that they don't know about Bollywood. Bollywood movies have songs, unfortunately we cannot replace actors with singers, so we need playback singers in Bollywood.

i guess the playback culture is only popular in india and pakistan that is why they think that the actor themselves sings a song that is how entire world is functioning , because in west no one else can do playback for the actor if it require he will himself have to sing
