He is 10000000000000 times better for Devi tai than her family... We can all argue that family is family and all but the fact is that sometimes family is worse for us than someone else. Her family is toxic for her and that is the truth..

Tai deserves a fair chance at being happy... just look at the way her face lit up seeing the decorations, and more importantly knowing her child is ALIVE!

Honestly, even though Sai broke Virat's trust I am not upset you know why..

because she sees Tai as a human and not her illness... she is the only one who considered what tai said about being married and having a child. Everyone else brushed it off saying yeh toh kuch bhi bolti hai...

A person has been wronged by her entire family... yes entire!

Fight me on this but it doesn't change the fact that VIRAT, AAI, SHIVANI BUA, MOHIT etc all believed kaku's story... no one ever tried to dig deeper...

No one ever tried to make sure that tai is getting the proper treatment despite tai verbally saying how her aai is bad....

Why does one always be defined by their mental illness, why do we reduce a person to the cpability of their brain... Would we do the same if she was missing a limb!?

Time and again Tai has said clearly that ninad kaka, omi kaka, and my gandi aai will do something to me... that is not delusion, that is fear...

She has been a victim of honor killing (they didn't kill her physically but killed her mentally)

Tai has been tortured and she DESERVES happiness...

Sai understands the consequences of her decision. But for her Tai's safety matters more.

You might counter by saying why couldn't she wait for Virat to reinvestigate, I would have agreed to this if the kidnapping had not taken place... She sees what kaku is capable of... She has no proof and knows virat will not believe her. She also knows kaku is capable of pitting it all on her as she did when sai wasn't able to find Pulkit... they blamed her for Tai's condition....

Sai genuinely cares about TAI and for her is tai's safety is being with pulkit then that is what is right...

Tai has a fair chance now to become better, she has a fair chance to go to a doctor and heal herself, try to get back those 10 years of her life that were ruined, reunite with her daughter who was taken away.

Staying in chavan Niwas she will never get the help she needs... Kaku will never let that happen...

So for Sai putting her own relationship at stake for the sake of Tai's happiness is the right move... She did something that many can't...

I might not like pulkit for putting the onus on SAI but he too has suffered enough... If I were in his shoes I would probably react in a similar manner especially after being kidnapped...

Though I still feel Pulkit should have gone to Virat but again, and this is the truth, Virat turns a blind eye towards what his family says.... Even during alta track when kaku started off that sai didn't put alta he was ready to give it off to her without listening to her side...

Both virat and Sai are flawed but the difference here is Sai is thinking about TAI and her happiness, which was evident in today's episode. The smile and happiness on tai's face was heartwarming yet heartbreaking.

I will say it again, your mental illness doesn't define you and it surely doesn't define Tai... she is being given medications by her own mother who does not want her to get fine because she knows if tai recovers she will expose them and speak up against them!

lovely post. i don’t feel like commenting on any topics now a days. i completely agree with what you wrote about chavans being toxic to devi. to be fair, devi is not mentally ill. she is going through trauma. she is very observant, knows everything going on around her.

there was a discussion sometime back on how devi is not ill treated and allowed to roam around the house etc.

my aunt is a mentally ill patient. she has problem woth brain development since childhood. due to lack of medical facilities then there was no improvement in her condition. so i am speaking from experience. she can do everything on her own. she is now in her 60’s but has brain of that of a 10 yr old. we believe everything she says because she doesn’t lie. she doesn’t know how to. infact she knows more about where things are kept in the house than us. everytime we don’t find something, she knows where they are.

we take her everywhere. everyone who knows our family knows her condition and we have never tried hiding it. infact, no function happens in our family without her. so i understand that what devi is being subjected to is abuse. no one from the family ever tried to help her. that is a fact. for them locking her up because she may disrupt pujas is normal. i have scene a clip on insta of devi’s introduction where bk locks her up so she doesn’t attend virat’s puja. that is not normal. that is ABUSE. period.

also i have made a post few days back of how sai getting them married is not wrong. i agree that sai should not break virat’s trust. it is wrong. but for me her getting devi and pulkit married is not wrong. frankly pulkit doesn’t deserve sai’s sacrifice but devi does. just because bk gave birth to her l, doesn’t make her right. she is the one responsible for devi’s condition today. if it were in any other country women like bk would never be given responsibility of any child let alone someone with devi’s condition. because she is not worth it.

i have stopped watching the episodes, but have seen a clip in insta where he says he will not spare anyone who will spoil devi’s life. but what happened to this concern when he came to know that bk gang separated her from husband and child? why did he not question his family then and tried to find out what happened?

so to me even though sai breaking virat’s trust is wrong and she will pay for it, her getting devi married to the one she loves and who loves her and uniting her with her child is not wrong.

thank you for sharing about your aunt... its true that many people who live with mental illnesses are actually better at handling life than others....

see that is why i am not angry with sai... I understand her actions stem from her love for tai... she is ready to put her life at stake for tai's happiness...

it shows how much she loves her more than her own blood....

I want to see him regret, feel guilty and the pain of failing as a brother. Neil will rock it.

Totally agree with you. I felt this even before you mentioned, tbh. But didn't know how to put it in words. Brilliant post👏👏👏

Like I saw many people saying that she needs to prioritize her relationship more, but thing is how can she decide whose happiness matters more, her or Devi? Sai is just selfless like that.

The only complaint I have, is that Sai could have been a bit more smarter. She could have recorded those phone conversation, at the very least. To dive headfirst without any evidence is harmful. She could land up in jail for all we know.

Great post❤️

yep agree with the proof bit... she could have been smarter but this is ITV so i keep logic aside!!

but yeah she showed once again how selfless she is by jeopardizing her relationship for tai....

What a beautiful post and thank you for sharing your personal experience.

I have a member of our family who suffers from mental health issues which are severe. She is treated exactly the same as your aunt with respect after all she is a human being - if she was treated badly by any other contact outside the immediate family we would not stand for it.

It’s a shame as this story line could have done so much for the mental health cause - but sadly that’s not what these shows are about.

As far as the storyline is concerned it’s sad it takes Sai to break Virat’s trust but then everybody else failed Devi.

If everyone uses their brains, trust and communicate there won't be any misunderstandings n in itv its mandatory.

I agree pulkit is a nice guy , devi tai will be happy with him, sai's intentions aren't wrong. She heard from Kaku and gang the whole truth about pulkit , basically their confession . So she has no doubt about pulkit. At the same time she was stupid enuf to not gather evidence n also not keeping virat in the loop. Virat could have investigated properly but whatever info he has, his reaction is justified as per that. They will unite after the separation and it's gonna be sweet.

Arey inke lesson learning mein yahan band baj rahi hain.

Kab khatam hoga ye, its a very interesting yet frustrating track.

Frustrating as we will have to be bear Pakhi a lot on Screen with her delusional husband.

I dont mind their scenes, but if the lady could put some effort then the impact would be really good. She kills the momentum of the scene and it becomes a blahhhh scene then.
