He’s definitely physically attracted as evident from the holi episode. He has been from before imp, the way he checks her out in sarees etc is a proof. Attraction is 100% there. She is no longer a child for him. He recognises her as his wife and is expecting spousal love too
but I don’t think his love is as intense as the attraction. Love is much more than physical intimacy and attraction. Love involves trust which I don’t see in him. He believes even Pakhi over Sai the min she instigates him ans goes on angry young mode the min Sai does something against his wish. So love is yet to ascertained fully.
My heart wants the answer to be the first option but my mind knows he isn't completely in love with her. Because love itself has a thousand different emotions and some of them have to worked upon at the moment. So I wouldn't say that he is just attracted to her because Sai has become a major part of his life but he is not absolutely in love bcoz it's quite a complex thing and there is a lot more to explore in each other. So, I feel he has entered the love mode but to establish that unbreakable bond, it requires more time, effort and patience. So, I can't really keep my finger on one option.
( I don't think I'm very good at this love and emotion lectures being a humdrum and pragmatic kinda person but I thought I should write at least that much for SaiRat 😅😋)
He's not there yet, is on the way and given that makes me think does anyone really love Sai at the given point of time? Like, anyone?

He did trust her enough to not go behind his back. Sai's intentions are right, but the path she chose is wrong, nobody can deny that. She is breaking his trust (for her own reasons) which is why he will be hurt.
I don't want to start virat vs sai here, bcoz I love sairat equally but it's true... this time it's sai fault not virat's... He trusts her that's why he is ready to investigate... Even in yesterday episode he trusted her so much but by the end he has to believe others bcoz they have logic and proofs.. .
And love ka Matlab yeh nahi hota hai na, that you blindly believe or follow your loved one... everyone have their own decisions... Virat thinks pulkit is fraud and Devi Tai is not normal and he said he will investigate, so obviously gussa ayega.. but I don't him to throw her out of house... Because no two wrongs will become right...
PS: I am not saying sai's intentions are wrong... But here way is wrong
Hi,
Interacting with you, other than on EDT 😆.
Have shared my views below.
Virat's love can be seen in all of these
- Cares for Sai
- Believes that Sai is a person who is good at heart and would never doubt her intentions. Would also not encourage others who questions her integrity or intentions.
- Considers Sai's dreams to be his dreams
- Trusts that she would never lie (her mouthing of jhooth in the scene where Kaku denied Sai food, was enough for him to understand what was happening)
- Understands Sai many a times/ understanding is in progress
- Respects her privacy, has never tried to cross his limits
- Has clearly let his family know her place and position in his life (eklautha bahu and him leaving the house if she is required to leave)
- works on or fights with his family to look at Sai in a different light, asks them to accept her, vouches for her, expects them to respect and love her
- Will stand up by Sai if she is right
- Support Sai whenever needed
- Forgives Sai whenever she makes mistakes
- Works on mending his relationship in anyway possible to keep Sai in his life - regrets whenever he has made a mistake and apologises
- Puts up with Sai's anger, dislike, hatred - expecting that some day she will understand him
- Goes out of the way to bring a smile on her lips or to cheer her up
- tries to fill the gap which formed after her Dad's death
- Understands her pain even if she had not shared it with him (explaining to Kaku about Sai's state on the day they were planning to go Ladakh)
- Sincerely waiting and yearning for her attention and love, giving her space and time for her to accept the relationship, to come in terms with her feelings
- attracted by her
- feels jealous when she talks about someone else (it is another indication of love)
- feeling insecured - doesn't want her to leave him and the feeling that he won't be able to stay without her
- letting his friend/ex that she is his wife and defends Sai against Pakhi (many a times)
Virat started to get attached to Sai first. He always cared for her. He didn't like to stay away from her.
He had subconsciously started to like her, felt the need to spend more time with her, to get to know her, to get lost in her chirpiness, to hear her more.
He started to get attracted to her much later. It wasn't like he was smitten by her. His attraction came much later and was a gradual one.
Virat and Sai have bonded to some extent, but will take time for it to strengthen. Just like anyone else, Sai has a few flaws.
Virat knows them, has noticed them from the days of Gadchirolli. One cannot deny the fact that Sai is impulsive, stubborn, bold, does things on her own without seeking anyone's approval and without keeping anyone in loop, takes all matters in her hands. Virat knows all these traits or character hers.
However, Virat believes that Sai is good at heart, her intentions are good, that she can never harm or hurt anyone intentionally. He not just believes this, but also asserts this to people who doubts her intentions or who questions her actions.
It is not only about when he fell in love, he kept falling in love with her but realised it only now.
Everyone have their own principles. He loves his family, sacrificed his love for this same family.
And he fought against this family when they asked Sai to leave the house, he has fought against the same family many times, standing by Sai.
In the latest episode, he never believed in anyone who spoke against Sai. He kept trying to reach Sai and she didn't pick his call.
Even when he came to know from Pakhi's parents, that they saw her with Devi in a cab, he was only thinking where Sai could have taken Devi. He did not doubt her, right after he came to know that.
He defended Sai against Pakhi too saying that he trusts that Sai would never go against his word. I could only see his trust on Sai.
He was made to suspect if what they were saying could be true, much later.
It is not that he was believing his family/friend blindly, they only reminded him of what Sai had said/challenged. It only made him think if Sai was really taking such a step.
About yesterday's dialogue that she will have to face punishment, it has got to do with the fact that he had asked her to stay away from this matter until he investigates further, yet she had decided on her own to get his sister married to Pulkit.
He also only said that if Sai has taken such a step, she will have to face the consequences.
I would only like to say this, even if Sai and Virat loved each other for many years, and if years later, Sai had done the same, Virat would have still felt cheated, would have felt as if his trust was broken.
If one cannot do or take such a big decision on their own, even after loving each other for many years, in this scenario, Sai is taking a decision when she has not even accepted him to be her husband. I don't blame her to have not accepted him as her husband.
Her intentions may be right, not her approach. It is going behind one's back. Whatever be the reasons, she had. She would have felt that this is for the good of Devi, she might have understood Kaku, her actions, her intentions, but even then, she should have never agreed to Pulkit to do such a thing and should have never helped him.
It is only natural for Virat to get upset that she took this decision on her own and that she didn't wait for him to investigate further. It will only hurt him that she never gave him a chance to deal with the matter and most importantly, took decision of his sister on her own. The decision, which he himself might not have taken without involving his family. Even if he had decided to get Devi married to Pulkit, it would all be in open and not secretively.
He might be ignorant of his family's deeds, can he be blamed if they had planned and plotted things during his absence? How was he supposed to have known what they did when it was hidden from him?
This doesn't mean that he cannot get upset with Sai. Also, just because he is upset with Sai, it doesn't mean, he doesn't love her.
I will wait and see how his feelings progresses in future to start to judge his feelings.
Today i have some time, dont know next when i would be able to reply to these kind of interesting posts.
Virat is in love for sure, he is aware of it and understands it in a way. But being in love does not mean i would agree to whatever my partner is doing. He has seen something and he believes in it, that's his belief (it was a shoddy investigation but lets not go there). He was looking for a proof to see if Pulkit was married and he got one so bas hogaya. He does not look at how people are that's now how he is made, he is emotional and Kaku is the one manipulated him today.
Pakhi cannot manipulate him because of her own jealousy, she instigates him because his feelings are involved and she knows that very well.
Sai has taken a drastic step and she is aware that this is not going to go well with Virat and knows this will have an impact. If hear her in the precap, she knows Virat will reach there but wants the marriage done before he arrives. I think she knows him better and knew he would go against her.
Also she is not someone who can be played on, because she is not yet emotionally involved when it comes to Virat and hence she comes out at the stronger and Saner in all three of them. The day she lets her guard down things will change for her as well. I still remember her one line which she told Virat in their argument post the Ladakh trip, "main aaj bhi akeli hi hoon"...well that line is going to come true.
Sorry for the long post
Virat's explicit acceptance of his love for sai is being considered as mere physical attraction; meanwhile sai's acute indifference to virat's feelings is regarded as her care for him. Good going!
